What's crazy about the Zeus boss fight (for those who don't know) punching Zeus at the end only stops when the player wants it to stop, so they can literally keep punching Zeus forever

When talking to Kratos, make sure you don't have a spinning O above your head

I love the posiedon kill because of how they use the enemies pov instead of the main character or 3rd person. Like, being put into your opponents perspective as your character literally beats the shit out of the boss is so fucking brutal

For those who haven't noticed: When kratos opened the pandora box and received the power that lie within, the evil and wicked remnants that zeus had locked in were released and corrupted all gods and all mankind. 1. Poseidon is consumed by violence and anxiety (players who pay attention will read poseidon's letter stating that he apologized for the abuse, beat the princess and then ties her up in a room when the player reaches Poseidon's Chamber and there also another letter from poseidon from the same area stating that he is upset about his brother zeus for being so different unlike the zeus he used to know) 2. Hades is consumed by hatred (Hades duel with kratos is also to avenge the death of his wife persephone and the death of athena and poseidon) 3. Helios consumed by lies and intrigue (Helios tried to lie and deceive kratos by telling him to step into the flame of olympus to receive the power to defeat zeus) 4.Hermes is consumed by arrogance (which is also why hermes is extremely disdainful and overconfident when kratos tries to chase him) 5.Hercules is consumed by envy and greed (Hercules has said that he feels jealous of kratos because kratos has accomplished more great feats and is favored and respected by the gods than he is. kratos also obtained the throne of war god after killing Ares and hercules wanted to destroy kratos to impress zeus and also to win the throne god of war for himself) 6.Hera was overwhelmed by depression and helplessness (She was so sad that she drank so much alcohol that she got drunk because she was so helpless and became depressed because the war led to tragic death of the gods) 7.Herpheatus was overwhelmed with sadness and grief (his daughter was taken by zeus and he was beaten by zeus and sent to hell) 8. Aphrodite is consumed by lust and infidelity (She wanted and did make love to kratos when he came and approached her and her husband was herpheatus) 9.Zeus is consumed by fear and power (because he is afraid because he heard a prophecy that there is a warrior who will destroy and bring destruction to olympus and he does not want olympus to fall and lose power) And finally there was Kratos, who was engulfed in a past of sin, hatred, and rage caused by the gods and he was determined to defeat olympus for revenge and the power of Hope within him, but kratos did not realized until the war was coming to an end (Kratos had to kill all the other gods in order to achieve his only goal of avenging zeus, but he didn't realize what helped him continue his journey was not is killing and revenge, but it is Hope, the power beyond god that he received the moment he opened the pandora box That's also why after killing zeus, he realizes that the world is suffering the disastrous consequences he caused after the death of the gods he has killed, which is Chaos. And finally Kratos sacrificed himself by stabbing the blade of olympus throught his body to give humanity the power he holds, which is Hope). So personally, when I have completed this game 5 times, I realize the message that the game wants to send to the players is: If there is always hope in each person, it is what helps us overcome all difficulties and sufferings in daily life. In this game, we do not simply play as Kratos on his journey against the gods. But we also play as Hope against the evil and negativity that every human being always has, which also means that each god appearing in the game represents every kind of human sins. And it also tells us that even gods have their bad sides.

When you kill every god you literally have to SWITCH MF MYTHOLOGIES to fight new bosses.

Greek God: *Gets in Kratos’ way* Kratos: “tell me what I want to know and I’ll let you live” Greek God: “no and I’m gonna kill you” Kratos: “before I kill you, you’re gonna tell me what I want to know and I’ll take your weapon.” Rinse and repeat

I remember that in the cutscene where you literally beat zeus so much you're screen goes red with blood that I kept going for about a minute or two not knowing it was ok to stop

Hermes: mindless rambling Kratos: *holy shit those them shoes I’ve been wanting*

The most messed up Part when you see the Darkness leave Zeus when Kratos is about to end him finally free of corruption too late before Kratos rage takes his life

What’s crazy is that the power to kill a god that Kratos sought was within him all along. He just didn’t know that it came with sacrifice, and that’s exactly what the box showed him when it was empty. It showed him that HE would be empty.

Out of all the bosses, Cronos is definitely the most spectacular one. He truly looks like the ultimate villain

Kratos spends the whole game killing gods, in his search for the power to kill a god, and in the end discovers that the powers to kill a god was already in him the whole time 🤷‍♂️

My favourite moment was when zeus cried out "Kratos, it's YOU! YOU'RE the God of War!"

I wish that this game was available on PC so someone could mod it to replace Hermes boots with Crocs.

I just realized Hercules could've lived and probably even been cool with Kratos if he'd of just stepped aside when he was given the chance.

This game was epic on so many levels. Ahhh man. Wish i could re-live this game again as if it first came out

if Hercules had trace of sanity and fend off his jealousy, he could've fought with Kratos. Kratos still had a glimpse of brotherhood by telling him to get out of the way, he could've been spared.

I came here to appreciate how loving of a father atreus has.

I like how whenever Kratos kills someone and something bad happens (killing Posideon causes a flood, Helios makes it dark, Hera causes the plant life to die) the same theme plays.

This game aged like fine wine. One of the best.

Kratos's hate for the Olympic Gods and himself outweighed any attachment to the world he was destroying in the pursuit of that and seeing Kratos himself recognize his failings as a person in the hunt for revenge in the latest game was mesmerizing to experience. Never in a million years would I have predicted that the fun and ruthlessly insane Kratos from the older games would get a legitimate character arc.

Damn the Hera fight was one of his hardests, It's incredible that he managed to survive.

No wonder Kratos left Sparta after he killed all the gods I imagine Greece was a dark and cold place especially with the sun blotted out due to Apollo/Helios dying.

Man I loved that vengeful Kratos from the previous Trilogy but the new developpement of Kratos in God Of War (PS4) is absolutely stunning, I mean they really did a great job and Christopher Judge voice fits so well, I can't wait to play Ragnarok !

Kratos vs Zeus is one of the most satisfying boss fights to play through, Zeus getting what he deserves
