@@Red05x Way to go dude, you just accidentally proved the point of his character. JD was the personification of "the sins of the father" trope. There was not a snowball's chance in hell that the son of THE Gear would live up to the reputation of his father. He resented the burden of being his father's son. His father warned him to not join the military, so that's exactly what he did. He realized what his father was warning him about when he was rewarded by the COG instead of being punished for killing rioting civilians. So he went AWOL, just like his father. JD was fated to walk the path of his father. We just happened to meet JD two years into his military career, unlike Marcus, who we met 17 years into his military career (at the start of Gears 1).

Gears 2 had a COG helmet you couldnt ever wear. I know the Gear in the hospital in Gears 2 with a Gnasher that takes cover at a gurney has it.

I forgot what his armor was but the one Dom had in gears 2 is commando armor and for Marcus armor I think it was heavy armor like for a seargent or carrying ammo and stuff but that's just my theory

@@probnotanti5738 Nah that's not right at all. Personally I don't think it was necessary to kill any one of them, but the developers probably have something in their minds for the next game. In anyway looking at it logically i don't see any reason for Kait to save JD over Del, because Del was there for her in her hardest times and had her back all along the story. Still I chose to save JD hell knows why, I'd rather have them both live. All in all great game and plot.

@@MrCaymanian Nah he doesn't have to live just because he's Marcus' son. Also losing his best friend/brother, wife and son would leav Marcus in a fucked up place and make for an interested story arc in Gears 6

@@MrCaymanian It would definitely be a no brainer to choose JD over Del, because your head would have to be hollow to do so. Anyone who played through the campaign could see that Kait had nothing but gratitude and kinship towards Del and hostility towards JD.

I know this is gonna sound heartless but I couldn't cry when Dom died because, I was laughing because, whenever I hear mad world I just start laughing uncontrollably

Btw don't worry. I am a huge lore nerd and fan of the franchise. Dom's death still gets me to this day. ;( But it might be best to remove Cole from the list of dead because it is quite misleading.

Well Epic wasn't sure if they could afford to make another gears game after judgment so they sold the rights to Microsoft and so Microsoft had to find another development studio and that's where black tusk studios came in to play the remastered the first game under the name of the Coalition
