Part 3: A construction mishap reveals a hidden valley filled with giant insects! As the Calico runs aground in a shallow river nearby, the crew soon finds themselves trying to escape the valley with their lives. To complicate matters, a giant spider may even be more than a match for the mighty Godzilla!

yeah, real spider venom is often harmless to the spider. It's an enzymatic reaction that dissolves cells made of a certain kind of protein... typically one NOT found in the spider at all. It's why some spider venoms have little effect on Humans and some near deadly. It's all dependent on what kind of protein their venom affects and whether Humans have that protein.
