The more people who share 1947 history, the less we all will be oppressed by the heavy-duty propaganda blanket - that has produced a modern-day dark age in America. Young people are kicking the butt of mainstream media, and KZfaq superstars are stealing viewers from the rotten no-brained commentators and shills of ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and CNN. Fake media. Bye.

Are you Jewish? I was raised gentile but also was a standard American idiot, just thinking that all Palestinians were terrorists (based on the news coverage), until sometime in the mid-nineties, when a Jewish friend finally explained the whole thing to me--how atrocities had been committed on both sides and how there were scores of Palestinians who still held the deeds to their homes that were taken from them, while in exile. That latter point was shocking to me, and I never forgot it.
@michaelvaughn7137

@@ElKoubi1975 as most 20 year old Americans in 1991 I believed that the Jews were victims of the Nazis and after world war two there was land in the middle east that we had control of that the UK had had control of so it was given to the Jews and that Muslims and Islamic's hated the west for our religion and/or lack of it never giving it a thought beyond that even when watching Rambo 3. Keep in mind America is the most propagandized country in the world and my head as an American military brat who had just joined the Navy himself I had my head so far up my ass I could have French kissed myself!!!! But my one saving grace was the fact that I had been a Navy military brat because I had grown up seeing other cultures my brain had at least learned to reason when something was put in front of my eyes unlike so many of my piers who most had never left their towns let alone their country . So when I ended yp in Haifa Israel I couldn't help but ask myself so if the Palestinians had been living here when the Jews came how did the Jews form the state of Israel ?! And that was the start . The ship I was on was what was known as a tender it would repair other ships so we would be in a port for a month or more and have whatever ships in that area come to us to get worked on so I had lots and lots of time to go out to see and ask questions . And the biggest thing that actually started opening my eyes was how uncomfortable people would start getting with my simple question both Jew or what I believed to be Jewish at the time and Palestinians . The what I know know now were Zionist because they knew then that they had no legitimate clane to the land and the Palestinians well I'm sure a hole host of reasons they would be fearful of speaking the truth to a stranger . In the meantime I've educated myself quite extensively and even though I've been in love with a Jewish woman for the past 11 years and she basically agrees with me she doesn't like to talk about it and her parents really don't like this about me because they are a hundred percent brainwashed Zionist , you can see the reason for their daughter's issue with talking about it . I still educate as many as I can when ever the opportunity presents it's self .

The parallels between the Native Americans and Palestinians is almost eerie. Invaded by a persecuted religious minority by white European Christians seeking to start a new way of life in foreign lands. The systemic dehumanization of the people living on the land where they are considered uncivilized savages that are unreasonable for not allowing the invaders to be granted dominance over resources and land (i.e. didn't come to live in harmony with the people living in the land, but rather wanted to structuralize their supremacy over the land and resources they stole). The people living on the land that fought against the invaders were considered terrorists and people who didn't want peace (i.e. didn't want to accept being ruled and dominated by the invaders nor accept their land and resource left). After establishing a foothold, they continued their desire to dominate more and more land and resources, continually driving the people who lived on the land to less and less desirable land with little to no resources - and then after stealing all the land and resources, justified their actions and supremacy by using comparatives over how the now resource deficient group that had been driven off their land was living vs. themselves (using language of civilized vs. uncivilized). And throughout, a massive propaganda campaign that shows the invaders as the righteous and the invaded as the savages bent on violence, while the entire paradigm of the invader is might makes right / violence. So on and so on. It's the history of the US being played out in the Middle East in real time.

Exposing the big con behind Zionism passes through uncoupling it from Judaism. I'm a Gentile myself but even back in the late 90s, when my Jewish Italian flatmate and I spoke about Zionism, it was something we would argue, and she - the only non-Zionist in her family of Zionists who'd recently bought an apartment in Tel Aviv, introduced me to a small crowd of Israelis fiercely critical of their country and living in self-exile away from it. One of them, nearly 25 years later, is still a dear friend. So why is this fierce colonial project still so difficult to question, why do we still get accused of hating our fellow humans (antisemitism smear) if we even just dare to criticise it? There's something diabolical at its core and it has nothing to do with religion. It's all about greed and colonialism, and preying on human fear and paranoia to control fellow humans and convince them, much as an evil cult will, that they're the only ones who've seen the light and the rest of the world is clueless and dangerous.

Jews and Muslims and Christians been fighting each other for millennia; read about the Crusades, about the wars between the sects between various Christian tribes, about the pogroms enacted against the Jews. Why? Because these three "different" religions don't agree with what their particular "God" looks like... or wants or... whatever. It does all boil down to religion. Obviously, the goals of each faith have expanded; after all, religion is not all what any one person needs in order to thrive; you need land, food, shelter, etc. But differences in world outlook has always been used as the starting point; the idea being a people with a common viewpoint will make for a more cohesive, and therefore (supposedly), a more stable society.

Much respect to both of you for using your voices and your platform. God bless you Katie, and finally being able to speak your truth openly and honestly after so many years of people trying to silence you. Thank you for having such incredible guest on your show, and making us aware that there are so many Jews out there, speaking in the name of humanity.

Zachary's comments are brilliant. I've come to the same conclusions myself but he is far more articulate. One might accurately say that the United States was also born from a sin, but Israel's sin came at a time ethnic cleansing was no longer in fashion.

Not Jewish but I shared the 'Jewish Narrative' - deeply affected as most decent humanity by the Holocaust, the Inquisition, the pogroms. Was deeply shocked, revolted attitudes I encountered on an extended visit to Israel. Feel sad for Jewish people who recognize what's happening in their name. Many or most are hated by their family, their friends. Maybe, their children will respect, deeply appreciate their courage. That will be some compensation.

You know Katie, to the surprise of so many Jews who were brainwashed, I as a Palestinian Muslim, consider my self as a semite, don't doubt that I could be from a Jewish or Christian ancestry who reverted to Islam as the final message to humanity. I sincerely don't have hatred towards Jews or Christians. I consider them my Abrahamic brothers and sisters despite all the interpolation that plagued their Bible and Torah (whic have never been preserved and with unknown authors).

US media outlets were complicit in the suppression of news from, for sure, the 1960's, and maybe even earlier. I was raised Catholic and all that we were exposed to was basically the movie Exodus, which, in retrospect, was a propaganda piece. My first clue that there was a different truth was when I was in university in a city with a wider variety of international students than I was previously exposed to and the stories I heard were shocking. Interestingly, the Jewish Student Center there had an art show and someone submitted a painting of a settler with what looked like an Uzi submachine gun or a British Sten standing over dead Palestinians and the Rabbi told the artist to get it out of there. I knew the artist and he told me I was so naive. I was, indeed, naive.

I am not Jewish nor am I religious, but, until recently, I believed in Zionism as a key factor for Jewish self-determination. However, despite my revulsion at the Hamas attacks on civilians on October 7, I have realized, especially after Israel's response that includes the massacre in Gaza of more than 30,000 people (including children), that I cannot continue defending such an ideology that, far from defending Liberal Humanism, Enlightenment and Human Rights, does the opposite, not very different from pan-Arabism and pan-Islamism. I believe that extremism on both sides (Hamas, PIJ, Jewish Power or Religious Zionist Party) does not favor anyone, that Zionism is not the key to ending prejudice towards Jews, only education and tolerance. That is why I advocate cooperation between Arabs, Jews, Druze, Circassians, Bedouins and Armenians to create a better society based on democracy and secularism, including the creation of an Israeli-Palestinian confederation that, in the future, will became a single state created for all its citizens that makes up Gaza, the West Bank and Israel. Thank you for uploading this video.

You have to educate yourself more. Read and learn the history. If you believe what Hammas says on TV about the 30000 that means you are fresh fish in the ocean still. Read and learn how jews been treated for 3000 years . nobody cares what and how you feel . go to the library to learn.

In 1956 Gaza was NOT Palestine, it was Egypt. There were 4,000 Egyptian soldiers in the strip, who took off their uniforms and merged with the population. There were also hundreds of Fedeyan who had been attacking Israel for years. The great historian does not mention the massacre in Hebron, nor the ambush at Mount Scopus. Nor does he mention the British killing Arabs Nor does he mention the 20,000 killed by Jordan during Black September. Nor the 3,000 Palestinians raped and murdered by Lebanese Christians... The "doctor" has a selective memory....

What could these people say about the promised land if they say that Zionism is just a 140-year old political ideology? There were various Arab tribes with no common concept of a nation under Ottoman rule in the disputed lands. Clearly, academic achievements aren't indicative of mental clarity. Doesn't this guy know that the Muslim Arabs left because they were advised by their Muslim leaders to flee from the war zone?

I'm in some serious cognitive dissonance and have been for a bit. I'm center right, served in the US military. It's difficult to wrap my hands around how wrong I have been about this conflict and how I quite literally have no political home. The American right is blind af on this issue and I cannot support them knowing what I know now about the past but also how horrendously immoral the present state of affairs is there. I can't support the left because their economics creates the conditions for the same things. A government big enough to give you what you need, is a government that will take all you have, including your life, it's only a matter of time. You could ask the Israelis killed by their own basically National Socialist government on October 7th, but you know, they're dead.
