Movie Goku was nuts: Shook the whole afterlife just by powering up into SSJ3 and absorbed a spirit bomb into his Super Saiyan form. Dude was big time broken!

When people say goku always wins they confuse movie with the actual series in a way to bash on goku which always annoys me

Conclusion: Goku is strong and he can shake any realm with his power.

Random cool idea: What if they had written it where Zamasu took over the Goku from the movie timeline? Goku Black could have been movie Goku vs. Anime/Manga Goku then.

The Dragon Ball Movies are absolutely monstrous when scaled to the Anime or Manga. Seriously, you literally have: * Broly destroying a Quadrant within a decade or two and being able to destroy the Universe (The mortal one, obviously not Universe 7 itself :P) within at least his lifetime. * Goku gathering genki from the Sun to take down Lord Slug with a Spirit Bomb (Might not seem that crazy… until you remember that genki is an exponential increase). * Meta Cooler... nuff said. Just watch Just A Robot's video to get a better grasp on just exactly how broken he is when coupled with the Infinite/Inaccessible Speed feat explained in the video. * Janemba, a literal Reality Warper, the first Dragon Ball related one at that. * Garlic Jr. and his hyperdimensional black hole, the Dead Zone o_O. * Goku absorbing a Spirit Bomb to take down Super Android 13. * The debut of both my favourite AND one of the best fusions in all of Dragon Ball, Gogeta. He may not be as OP as his Dragon Ball Super or video game versions, but goddamn is he so powerful. Tossing around with an at least Universally powerful Reality Warper is no easy task, after all. * _DRAGON. FLIPPING. FIST. EXPLOSION._ * And I'm missing tons of more insane feats on top of all of that I'm not even kidding when I'm saying that the movies are ludicrously OP. Almost nothing you see on even the DBZ anime can stack up to most of the ridiculous shit you seen on the movies. On top of that, considering Dragon Ball GT makes references to the movies with Cooler returning, Gogeta returning as a SSJ4 and Goku pulling off the Dragon Fist multiple times in the show, it might even make the GT continuity waaaaay stronger than what people actually think. How the hell the likes of SSJ4 Gogeta or Omega Shenron would stack up against Super with the benefit of the doubt that are the movies is completely up for you to decide.

Man the thing I hate about the movies is they build these villains up so much but because of the short run time it’s like “How do we end it? oh spirit bomb! ” and it’s an instant kill.

Imo the strongest villain caracter in Z before the two modern Z movies battle of God's and resurrection F, is Hirudegarn, his abilities and the fact that he took down gotenks and the others easily.

They should be the exact same strength. Movie Goku is only stronger since Wrath of the Dragon happens after the Buu Saga. Also M10 Gohan never trained, all he states in M10 is that he “should’ve powered up” since M8, which could just be in reference to him having acquired SSJ2.

The only way I could see Broly being above everyone else, would be if at the end its supposed to be Goku just managed to destabilize him when he hit him. Nothing to do with scars or anything like that, just a being that kept gaining power and his physical form couldn't contain it. I suppose that could make sense

The thing with the movies is it seems like they had side ideas that didn’t make the cut for the show and/or they wanted to showcase some awesome fights or show powers that we had never seen before.

Fusion Reborn and The Tree Of Might are my favorite DBZ Movies.

I think the "Dead Zone" is more magic than raw power. The meta Cooler thing is weird, but it seems they though Goku enters some sort of "instant transmission universe" and Cooler and Goku fight there a bit because they have the same technique. Though they don't even put their fingers on their foreheads so... As much as i disagree with the "Broly is strongest" mantra, his galaxy feat is kind of ridiculous. It's prbably the most out-there feat in the movies. Goku was losing for most of the Hirudegarn fight like everyone else, but he discovers some "weakness" and wins. So maybe he's not quite as strong as Gotenks. However, dragon fist itself is Goku's op "tri-beam" move that he can just spam and do tons of damage. Scaling in the BoG and RoF movies is a little different from the show and manga. They make it more clear in the film that Beerus was trying harder against Goku, while in the show they act like Goku merely intrigued him.

I know this video wasn't including BoG and RoF, but I discovered something...there was a 2013 interview with Koyama about what he thought of Battle of Gods...he said in that interview that he thought that movie made Broly (the same one he said was the strongest in the DBZ movies and anime) look like a pushover. So if "Koyama said it about Broly, therefore it's true" (which Seth and Geekdom didn't exactly agree with, but some insane Broly fans might) is someone's logic, they'd have to concede that Broly is a pushover compared to Battle of Gods. Either that or they're picking and choosing statements only when those statements support their points (and using "Koyama said it" in a cavalier (or ignorant) way).

(AKA World War 2) Chuck did make a video of scaling all the versions of Buu from weakest to strongest and at the same time he did open the possibility that SSJ 3 Goku maybe stronger than SSJ 3 Gotenks and as powerful (if not more powerful) than Ultimate Gohan.

Diving into the Cinematic universe of the DBZ movies. 10:19,XD Koyama's a weird dude. I like him. Not to mention,Goku seems way more heroic in the movies than in the anime/manga. Not to mention,smarter. Guess this is why Akira Toriyama didn't like how the 90's Goku was but then again,movies weren't meant to be canon. The anime was fine in bringing that Goku he wanted.

In Lord Slug's movie Goku goes FSSJ (False Super Saiyan) which was based off of the Super Saiyan form that was not yet released to the public by Toriyama so assuming it is the same as Super Saiyan it's power multiplier would be 50x original power that being said wouldn't Kaioken 100x be more powerful then Goku's power times 50 or did he receive a Zenkai boost not mentioned?
