On this installment of my MK2 GTI 1.8t shell swap, I fix the rest of the rust, including cowl panel replacement, door sill repairs and fixing up the rear quarter glass frames.

I've never seen a factory VW windshield frame rust.... it's only when the aftermarket ones are swedged in there... Keep up the good work. You have a lot of ambition.

Probably not, rattle can clear probably won't hold up any better than the paint I used

It depends on your country/market. Here in the states, they were fairly unpopular to begin with and got eaten up by rust. Regardless, your low mileage makes it pretty uncommon.
