He has been to the bank......a different way from the above...ie....he has gone and returned now... I agreed with your references and suggestions.... Thank you Madam...

But we don't say " I have gone to the USA" when we are already there. You can use this form with the other pronouns but not with 'I'.

Madam, he has been to London என்பதற்கு அவன் இலன்டன் போயிருந்திக்கிறான் ஆனால் அவன் இப்போது அவன் அங்கு இல்லை. He has gone to London என்பதற்கு அவன் லன்டன் போயிருக்கிறான். இப்போதும் அவன் லன்டன் இல் தங்கியிருக்கிறான். திரும்பிவரவில்லை என்றுதானே பொருள்.
