Okay, so first of all, I apologise for the audio in this video. There was a lot of background hull slap which the microphone picked up, so trying to reduce that while still keeping our voices sounding natural was a challenge for me.
Anyway, onto the Q&A! Huge thankyou to our Patrons for submitting their questions, which were fantastic andway better than what we could have come up with ourselves.
The equipment we use:
Panasonic Lumix G85 amzn.to/2FsC2Kc
Go Pro Hero 7 Black amzn.to/2SRTWtF
DJI Mavic Pro 2 amzn.to/2D6nZbs
DJI Spark amzn.to/2VQIal3
Manfrotto Pixie amzn.to/2RJbCud
Manfrotto Smooth head tripod amzn.to/2snTJCQ
DJI Osmo 2 amzn.to/2D7e9Go
Lowepro Passport 3 amzn.to/2FnGef8
All this equipment has been tried and tested in the field and we love it! If you're interested in purchasing any of these items, please consider using the links provided above. Thankyou :)
MUSIC:
All tracks featured in this episode are credited at the end of the video in the order that they appear. We get all our music from Epidemic Sound.

Jason, there is an area in the Pacific at 48 degrees 56.6 min South and 123 deg 23.6 West 2250km from land, which NASA calls 'spacecraft cemetery'. Space junk gets directed to that point, called Point Nemo. Just to let you know.

That was amazing! Thank you. Nikki and Jason lived in Dallas for a long time. Dallas people seem to be the type that dive right in and try it. I lived there for a time and I must say, there seemed to be so many entrepreneurs. I grew up in Pittsburgh and live near DC now. I love how much you all care about the marine environment. Think how nice it would be if everyone thought about it like you do.

This is general info that's close to my heart atm because my daughter is doing the subject at university for her degree....Suntan creams kill coral because of the chemicals in them and there are reef safe versions that people who snorkel or dive with should be using, not a rant just general info to raise awareness :)

Andre those chemical sun creams, sun block etc cause skin cancer. Throw chemicals into a fire, see what happens. Same happens when the hot sun hits your chemically treated skin. Nature gave use coconuts, the oil has a SPF of 4-6. Just apply more often, also great for the skin and does not block vitamin D production. ( which actually is a hormone) Thank you for pointing that out.

Comrad Boris - When I was young the world was new and exciting & memorable as I learned and experienced many things for the first time. Now, older, have 'been around the block' a few times and with the experience that comes with exposure to 'life' also comes the more relaxed, " been there - done that " attitude. So without NEW exciting experiences to be had, your memory is not impressed as it was when you were young. It all becomes a blur week after week, month after month, year after . . . . oh, I am so bored . . . . . think I will take a nap . . . . . . . . .

@@richardhobbs9038 Nice. I heard the time perception from a math geek. When you are 10 y/o, 1 year is 1/10th of your life. It feels like such a long time to live thru another year. When you are 50, a year is just 2% of your life and seems to fly by much faster.

ok... I seem to be hearing this from too many sailing channels that , "you're deeply connected to the environment." While you live on a boat, you live on a plastic chemical composite. And while you may only need to maintain it periodically, when you need to maintain it, you need the chemicals in their proper form to maintain you boat. What is not being properly considered is the cost, monetarily and environmentally, to maintain those chemical plants, their feedstocks and all of the other consumables that one uses to "properly" maintain your plastic boats. So, while I enjoy the entertainment of your channel, and this dialog was very entertaining; please either stop referring to yourselves as connected to the environment or actually take the time and expose the costs to maintain the entire value chain that allows your boat to be maintained in working order. At that time, I would consider you fully connected.

Estrella Del Mar that is exactly correct. Too many individuals are not fully aware of the interwoven nature of our industrial complexes whether they live in the city, far off in the country, or isolated on a boat. I applaud you for pointing out the obvious albeit not acknowledged enough.

@@MichaelBrashier ; All of you and the sailing show series, are involved with bringing us the vision of life on board with our wives, girlfriends, significant others, whatever? the concept of watching you entertain others while we sit back wishing we could be there is without question the furthest thing from my mind. I know you'd rather be in the water chasing a lobster or your wife or something and so do 95% of the rest of us. The idea of watching 4 other couples sit around waiting for whatever might be next on the tour-guide list for 3 couples in various degrees of pretty-good shape with Aunt Glady's and Uncle Phil who left their walkers on the dock, and now the story line has to switch from you and what the two of you are doing to what the two of you now have to do for the group. That in and of itself is NOT a bad story but it's not what we were watching you for to begin with, that's a problem. It might be what we would want to watch a charter boat show for though and that's something you might want to take back to the charter company and the boat builder and the bank, they need you to sell the dream. Right now your killing concept by hiding the experience. Sailing is Experiential, Film reveals it. In the water, in the air, in Music. The idea of changing your show formats might end up costing you more then you realize when you could spin it into something new. You all need each other. The Traveler industry is growing and soon it will be overwhelmed just like the RV industry is in the US you need to reckognize your strengths and grow it responsibly

They began with a monohull and went to a trimaran after sailing the monohull for 3 years or more years and now have been on their Cat for over a year and now even have a New Born baby on board with them sailing the world. They satarted as complete novice sailors and self taught and now are very profecient.
