reason for blood type is that many Asian , including Japanese, think different blood type yield different personalities like zodiac signs so blood type A is usually reserved blood type B is more optimistic also most Japanese are blood type A and they are , generally more reserved, quiet, and over analyze stuff , if you believe it in many Asian countries, ppl were told about their blood type when they were born due to medical reasons, say. in case you need it, ppl will know right away so is their parents, families..etc that's why you can ask and almost every Japanese and some Asian countries, will be able to tell you their blood type
