He knew exactly what he was talking about every time he spoke about his life experiences, the advice he gave on that is gold. He was poorly informed about geo-politics and ignored his own advice ('Keep your political beliefs to yourself'). I believe he went down this path towards the end because he knew he was dying and wanted to be a right-wing martyr. It's very regrettable indeed.

Funny to see the guy repeating all (and only) Russian talking points, regardless of any official (and independently verfiable) data. Yes, energy exports to India and China are doing WAY better than before the war. No, they are not making up even 10% of what's been lost with Europe deals. It cannot be possible at least due to a geography. One cannot simply teleport natural gas over 1000s of miles - you need a pipeline. And you don't build 1000s of miles of pipeline (or 1000s of ships) overnight. Especially fairy tales about Norwegians detonating American explosives that needed to be dug (!) in the sea floor. Gonzalo Lira isn't in Ukraine anymore, he's in the Netherlands now. He left 3 or 4 months ago because SBU picked him up for taking pictures of Ukrainian artillery and motor positions and giving it to Russian sabotage group, he was a spy and was scared. So he gave up the Russian sabotage group and after awhile he was scared they were going to kill him and not nato,so he asked to leave Ukraine and the Ukrainian SBU escorted Gonzalo to the polish border. He's not in Ukraine lol

@Randy Alvarado I hear you on how our government messed up relations globally under this administration. We did a lot of stupid stuff. How we gonna ask the Germans stop buying Russian oil without us turning on the spiggots to replace that lost supply? Too much politics. US and Canada can combined provide oil for our countries, Europe and other places. As for reserve currency status, I'm not saying the dollar will forever reign Supreme. No one can reign forever. But the replacement won't be BRICS, which is made up of a bunch of countries that either hate each other or best case scenario don't trust each other and will absolutely stab each other in the back first chance they get. As for Saudi, I believe what they said is that they'll trade with China and Russia in something other than the dollar, but I don't think there was any announcement that they will stop trading all oil in the US dollar. The last leader in that region to try that was Sadam or was it Gaddafi. You get the point. The US government will do anything to protect its interests. This guy in the interview pointed out the US blew up the oil pipeline from Russia to Germany. Best believe Saudi is well aware that while they explore their options, they know they can't make us an enemy either.

@Randy Alvarado I hear you but everyone claimed the Euro would end the dollar. The euro had a much stronger case than brics. Agreed the dollar can't stay the reserve currency forever, but I don't see brics being the one to dethrone it. I think the ideal situation is that no currency is considered the reserve currency. If the middle eastern countries decide to continue to push to destabilize the petrodollar, if the US doesn't attack them, we will likely see politicians actually come together and allow the US and our western hemisphere allies finally produce sufficient oil and gas to stop buying from particular regions and us even sell to countries to economically destabilize those countries that would stand against us. This is definitely a chess game. Let's see what happens. My plan is to hopefully get rich enough off my startup BlockQuake that I can have multiple residencies around the globe just in case the shit hits the fan. We secure the final funding we need, we can be positioned to be a multi billion dollar unicorn and I can then work on these plans.

Here’s to hoping this war goes on literally to the last Ukrainian as I’m heavily invested in US defense companies. In fact, my stock portfolio is absolutely kicking ass this past year! Why, my Boeing (BA:NYSE) shares alone are up almost 100% since this thing kicked off. And should the sad day come when this thing wraps up, I’ll be gobbling up US construction/building materials stocks for the inevitable Uke rebuild. Zelenskyy himself is already touting to our bankers and fund managers the investment opportunities that await at this war’s end. War-what is it good for? Making a shit ton of money!
