A GoPro camera is installed in a baitfish trap and lowered to the bottom in 25 feet of water off of Cedar Key, Florida.

Thanks for all the comments. Just an FYI, the trap in the video is a bait trap and not designed to let large fish in.

This is indeed awesome. I have a 4 clover trap for small bluegill and shad. Love seeing how fish think. Those big guys were so determined even rushing in trying to fit lol

To everyone saying make the entrance bigger, Florida State law only allows a maximum of 3 inch by 3/4 inch opening on bait traps. You can find all fishing regulations on www.myfwc.com

It's a bait trap. The purpose of this trap is to catch small fish to use for bait.

Well he is just trying to catch small bait fish but you could make the hole bigger if you wanted to catch larger fish.

Hi Perry, it's actually a baitfish trap, so the holes are small on purpose.

No worries Dennis, that is the most common comment on Trapcam. I did a newer Trapcam video of just the highlights and explained that, but not as many people have seen that one.

@@Natcoast I did alot of fishing in my time. Always had a fishing rod in.my hand. Or in my shed making fishing rigs. Disabled now. So watching KZfaq fishing is the closest I will get. I just love watching webcam fishtraps. Seeing the fish finding there way in. And all what it attracts. I will look for your new video. The clarity is fantastic. So fascinating to watch.. Once again. I am sorry. Maybe I was a bit jealous lol

Could have use the bait for the bait fish as bait in the first place. The access needs better design like longer inward pointing spokes
