@@visiontv68 why would they add a design feature that only realy effects Texas, Missouri, and Kansas rest of the world dont deal with huge hail that often, the only way to protect from gorrila hail damage is to have 1cm steel plate around the hole car and 1cm plexiglass windows

In 1958, north of Amarillo, we had a hailstorm like that. My parents put us under a bed. It shredded the roof of the house, broke windows, and totalled my dad's 1955 Chevy. I have a pic of my sister holding one of the hailstones.

These storm chasers should be held accountable for damages to vehicles... this was a 50k-70k suburban It is one thing If your traveling and run into a storm, it is another if your a storm chaser and PURPOSLY drive directly into it This makes it more expensive for normal renters to pay for insurance premiums on rented cars They rent cars now because they can't afford to pay the damages caused to their own vehicles, nor can they afford their own insurance premiums because of their line of work

From my experience, they don't ask a lot of questions if you have everything fully insured. I was told to "just bring back the steering wheel." Side note: the insurance option that covers the car doesn't cover the key fob. So bring back the steering wheel and the keys lol

We're that theory accurate you would witness a breakdown of some sort such as transmission failure, control arm, tie rod, something. I believe that would put far more liability on them if found guilty of doing that to a guy they supposedly know who's getting ready to drive their rental car in need of "expensive repairs" directly into tornados.
