I was molested by my uncle when I was a little girl. My parents decided to handle it through the church. We find out he molested many other family members too throughout the years. He ended up going to jail for same thing not a decade later because someone actually did the right thing and called the cops. He's been out for a few years now. Guess what community welcomed him with open arms? The same church. Could've saved so much pain and heartache if people did the right thing in the very beginning.

What he did wasn't something he's never done before. This man is almost 80 years old. He's been doing this for decades! It's just that this forty-one-year-old had the courage to come forth and expose him think of all the others which could be countless that he's threatened if they even told on him

I don't expect people to use kid-gloves on the LGBT community, i expect people to treat us the same way everyone else is treated. Call us out when we are wrong and give us our props when we are correct. To answer your question i didn't choose to be homosexual, i just am. I was raised by my mom and father and i was never mol le stëd. I tried begging god to make me heterosexual, i tried to pray the gay away but i was always gay AF. I stop being religious, became a critical thinker/sceptic and i am now free from the chains of religion. There is no evidence that one choses their sexuality therefore i am of the belief that's it's involuntary.
