Inosuke's sword style is self taught since he had no teacher and if you pay attention his techniques won't have cool visual effects like other styles. He has animal-like senses/instincts as his specialty trait.

15:04 Yes! That's exactly what's happening. He grew up in the mountains without any human interaction so when he meets kinds people who are nice to him for no reason he feels a warmth he never felt before and spaces out.

@@GOTGames btw if you haven't realized it yet, Special awareness enhances his sence of touch and enables him to feel even the slightese changes in the air. In other words he is the sence of touch. Which leaves us with two more but you won't know whom of the remaining two is taste and sight, yet.

So, this is never explained in the anime, but the narrator explains it in the manga-the thing Inosuke does to pinpoint the location of the puppeteer demon is use his hyper sensitive sense of touch. He can use tiny vibrations in the air to get a 3D map of his immediate surroundings. Although, personally, I think there has to be some sort of animal instincts going on there too. As an aside, the following is barely a spoiler, but technically yes, it is a spoiler. So read at your own risk. Actually, each of the 5 who passed the same Final Selection Tanjiro and co. were in are associated with a heightened sense. We already know Tanjiro’s smell, Zenitsu’s hearing, and now Inosuke’s touch. I’ll just say that the remaining 2 are associated with sight and taste (but I won’t say which is which, because that’s probably more of a spoiler).

Mizunoto to Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe are the base ranks we were given after final selection. While Hashira wasn't told then, it's the highest rank, being above Kinoe.

Zenitsu is a demon slayer, but he doesn't have the motivation to fight with demons like other soldiers. Most Demon Slayers joined the Demon Slayer Corps after their families were killed. It is much later that he finds the motivation to fight the demon.

@@vando6679 Not just in the manga however it's kind of obvious from his spacial awareness form and how he uses it as well as context clues that you can figure it out. He has both a hyper sensitive touch which allows him to sense vibrations in air currents hence why he almost seems to have 360 degree vision as well as his animalistic like instincts which formed his fighting style.

Finally were at my Favourite arc of all of Demon Slayer, the ambience is SO different and unique, and it has my absolute favourite soundtrack throughout this arc, i love the unique instruments used, the music is SO underrated, theres so much peak. All the demons and fights are great.

I remember both loving and hating watching this arc. I loved it because as you have mentioned, it's peak of season 1. I hated it because of a strong case of arachnofobia lol

@@Sir_Melon I had a love hate for the weekly grind of this arc and how evil some of the cliffhangers felt. I powered through it but it also taught me that I needed to read the source material so that when the next season dropped I could come into it just to see it all animated and if for whatever reason Ufotable decided or were forced not to make a next season I'd know how the series would end.

hashira is the highest rank and translate to pillar as in they are the metaphorical pillars of the demon slayer corps yes 1 of the hashira we saw is giyu tomioka the first demon slayer introduced in ep 1 and the one who sent tanjiro to sakonji urokodaki to be trained in the art of water breathing essentially revealing him as being among the upper echelons of the demon slayer corps

Welcome to the best arc of season 1 Mount Natagumo arc, and you'll be stuck with the trio for the whole story. 18:00 yes Giyu is the guy from episode 1 and Hashira is the highest rank more info on that later. 27:26 they probably passed out due to having their bodies moved in unnatural ways. 29:20 I'm not really suprised everyone loves Chuntaro and your pronunciation of Zenitsu is fine. Beast breathing seventh form is spatial awareness, Inosuke has a great sence of touch he can feel changes in the air to locate targets. Season 4 finished yesterday putting Demon slayer on a total of 63 episodes, and Ufotable has announced a movie trilogy to finish the story like they did with Fate heavens feel.

Tanjiro did not realize this but thei should be already higher than Mizunoto class, after all thei already beat some powerfull demons. Also Inosuke has the strongest sense of touch and can use it identify the position of enemies and their weaknesses by feeling small disturbances in the air.

Love this arc, but also hate spiders. Got conflicting things of this episode, but love it so much. Especially in a few episodes later will be excited for this arc as someone who loves Nezuko's character! Tanjiro Protect Nezuko from Zenitsu! 😂

I read Red Rising but I barely remember it. BTW Inosuke's sense he is good at is "touch" that's how his "spatial awareness" works, he basically feels vibrations and air currents from both the ground and the air. Even in the mansion last few episodes when a Demon tried to ambush him around a corner he sensed it and dodged. Inosuke acts flustered around the Old Lady, freaks out when she strikes the match for purification, and asks Tanjiro those questions because he basically was raised by animals in the wild and doesn't know about community and cultural norms that comes from living with humans. He is both super rough and callous, a bull in a china shop if you will, but also underneath very sensitive. Like how the sense of touch is very direct and somewhat crude compared to more "refined" senses, he can be, however he also like how someone builds up callouses from using their hands and feet, two ways people explore things with their sense of touch. Which makes him both abrasive and sensitive, him having a pretty boy face under his more grotesque boar mask is also reflective of this. Also keep in mind his "breathing style" is self taught, called beast breathing, and he refers to Forms as "Fangs."

There are more than 5 senses. Inosuke mentioned which one he has. Spatial awareness is a sense. 5 are just what you learn in school, but in reality, there's a whole bunch of them that we have. And Inosuke's special sense is spatial awareness

I had been seeing it on netflix and was super intrigued by the art style but i didnt oull the trigger till i saw that character design. Thats actually alot of why i start a show. This comment looks like a joke but I’ll still do the calculations. There’s 3 episodes for demon slayer per week. There are only 11 episodes left in S1 so he’ll reach Mugen Train Arc in almost one month. Mugen Train Arc has 7 episodes (if he’s not watching the movie) which would take more than 2 weeks to finish. Both S2 and S3 has 11 episodes so it will take him around 2 months to finish both seasons. He can reach S4 3 months and 2 weeks later which would be October of this year. By the time he finishes S4, it would be November.

Tanjiro is 15 at this point... let's be nice and say the guy joined up by 16, at even 17 he is a senior core member easy. And of course that's just using his age, remember Tanjiro has been a demon slayer for like 3 weeks (15 days waiting for sword and the time to do 3 jobs, each of which only took one day to complete once he got there) + however long they were recovering. Normal people take around 6 weeks to heal broken ribs so, considering that DS's have increased healing, we can probably say they were there for 3 weeks pretty easily but if you told me 1 or 2 I wouldn't be too surprised.

Pure speculation no spoilers here I assumed Inosuke is supposed to represent a "6th sense" typicallly seen as a thing wild animals have, like sensing prey and spacial awareness, rather than just good sight, since he doesnt use his eyes for this So far we know: 1. Tanjiro: Smell 2. Zenitsu: Hearing 3. Inosuke: Either sight or a 6th sense 4. Girl with the Butterfly: ______ 5. Angry dude: _____ I say inosuke might be a 6th and not sight, because i feel like Nezuko may be being counted as one too, being touch, since she fights with punches, kicks and claw slashes. And is very good at that lol. I could be overthinking it and Inosuke is simply sight and nezuko isnt counted, but i think the 6th sense idea fitting the beast-like Inosuke is too perfect, and fits the pulse move he used to locate the demon in this episode

They have 10 ranks in the Demon Slayer corps. It was said in the Final Selection. Mizunoto to Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe. The highest was Rank 1 or Kinoe and they were called Hashira. While Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu's rank was Rank 10 or Mizunoto, the lowest rank, during that time.
