Levy’s road to GM has quickly become my favourite chess content. Forget openings, theory and recaps. Seeing a person set goals, train and achieve those goals is something that inspires me and many others I’d think. Can’t wait until we see GM Levy terrorising tournaments either online or OTB!

@@damianich4824 You can't get 3 GM norms in an IM norm tournament, but as Hikaru has explained, Levy's challenge is not getting three GM norms, it's getting the rating points, so really, +150 ELO over the board is critical.

As A fellow teenager watching this video and a rare caro khan chess player this video helped me understand the opening better and it helped me realize that any person at any age can achieve a chess title. My dream for chess is too become a National Master and seeing how levy is trying to get GM at his age really inspires me Thank you for doing this series Gotham. A true fan is rooting for you.

I've enjoyed watching both replays. Hikaru gives a more technical and unbiased judgment on the game, while Levy's recounting of his process throughout play is also fascinating to see.

Playing the Caro Kann now because of you, it's awesome! It's great at the intermediate level to get people out of their ideas. Need to study it deeper than 5-6 moves and get some practice for the mid game complications but loving it so far.

I feel like the previous training on Levy's Caro-Kann in the past was like Goku's training, but him learning the main lines, and intricacies to each line now seems like he's Super Saiyan with his prep, and thats amazing work to be putting in. Especially with this road to GM he's focusing on.

This game was seriously really interesting because even though white sacrificed the queen, it wasn’t even the end of the world and the position seriously had some merit despite black having a queen for a rook and bishop. It’s not often that queen sacrifices end up so well, so i enjoyed seeing that while it lasted!
