As a lifelong resident I can tell you our taxes are sky high. Housing up 110% over national average. Food utilities and everything else 38% higher all to pay for illegals. I live on Cape Cod & they're housing migrants in a luxury hotel RIGHT on the water, on one of the most affluant streets around they have an indoor pool & ocean/beach right outside as their backyard! Most residents of the area couldn't afford that place and they've beenhoused there for over a year now. ALSO: there was a rape a couple towns over of a pre-teen girl, yet the idiotic judge let the illegal migrant out on $500 bail ....guess what happened, you'll never believe it: The FBI had to then come out and tell us that since the guy (Cory Alverez's bail) 'we now don't know where he is, he could be anywhere'....it goes on and on but that was just within last few days here in Mass.

Yeah, I live in Massachusetts about 90 miles from Boston. They have been shipping those families out our way. And the Mayor of Springfield,Sarno, was pissed off a few months ago when we got a few hours notice that we would have to house a large number of them. It made the news around Springfield. He actually refused them at first and then had to work with other communities in our area to house them. He was like no you need to give us notice.

I think you can understand that one. But still many ppl have put them up in their homes around here. There is no room for the homeless Americans. Crazy. And there is constant fighting in the hotels too. And if they have an emergency they stay in the hospitals indefinitely. My mother couldn’t even get a room last week in the ER. She had to stay overnight in the hallway. Crazy.

@destinylouise7931 sorry meant Bristol county. It is south of Boston and yes Rehoboth is part of Bristol County. I know the north shore has dealt with more of it but now it moving out to small towns especially ones with already poor communities that are losing citizens and elderly services to pay for it. My county is mostly republican now but that's all going to change to total democrat control. That's how most of the state was changed by illegals counted in censuses. I don't like that illegals are getting preferential housing over our veterans and our citizens. I have many vets in my family so that one really makes me mad on top of all the other entitlements were paying for. And your right these people are making money off these illegals so they look the other way. Look at how much these CEOs at these NGOs are making off struggling taxpayers. It's insane and will be the destruction of our country if we don't vote these people out.

Oh yeah btw, no one can get beds in the hospitals anymore. I had an elderly family go by ambulance to the hospital and they couldn’t even give her a room. She was elderly and constipated severally. She kept her in the waiting room along with a bunch of other people and just do tests. After 13 hours, they just gave her medication to make her go. Then she had to wait a month for a GI doctor. Before the lockdown this wouldn’t have ever happen. She could get a doctor right away. Now everyone has to wait a month or put on a wait list.

They’re running for the suburbs and overpopulating there. Towns are starting to put their foot down to say no more development and state leadership is trying to force them into doing it, thus ruining their towns. It’s ugly. We need new/better leadership.

We've dealt with the costs of education, welfare, clean-up costs due to trash and human waste and the hospital crises (free healthcare for the "migrants"). The liberals that were such "humanitarians" didn't care when we dealt with all the costs. All of a sudden, it's "Don't come here". Wow, it's almost like they want to control their border. But, it doesn't seem like they're saying "don't come into America", it's just "don't come to Massachusetts".

Title 8 subsection 1324 is a crime for a reason. Legally one charge per person brought into the country. The shelter systems are all set up and meant to be used for people that are supposed to be here. Criminal politicians are still not obeying the laws in anyway shape or form. They are supposed to get housed if there is room and the rest are supposed to be returned, it has not ever been any other way. Those doing something else are criminals plain and simple. This continues to be a crisis because no body is punishing those in charge that are breaking the law. Sanctuary status just means that local enforcement can't be charged with federal crimes IF they do not cooperate. It doesn't mean they can't cooperate and it doesn't mean that you endanger locals by breaking the law. This false narrative is killing too many Americans and must stop being repeated.
