Because he has it & likely the DNA was there before going to prison. Not all inmates are bad people, although there's some whom deserves to live out their lives there, for OUR own safety. Wes could likely agree with that. At the same time, there's many serving 50 years for what should had been only 2-5 years, no cash for a quality lawyer, means many gets the justice paid for. Sad yet true.

I also notice in many of these videos of Wes, he looked for a positive outcome (being thankful) everyday possible. I presume because being negative, having all of that rage flowing for the years spent behind bars, will mean either the inmate will die while there. Or live bitter & return to what landed him in the slammer to start with, only next time, 20-50 years rather than 2-10.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired, I finally quit using and haven't seen the inside of a jail cell since. That was 16 years ago and I never looked back. Thanks Wes. I’ve never been to jail but I am trying to better myself. Hearing you talk about how drugs mask the pain is helping me get off of weed and caffeine so that I can feel my own pain and do what needs to be done so that I can be the best version of myself. You really help people. Your life has massive value. Keep up the great work.

Everything regarding karma is real as well as addiction and drug users wanting a bag of what just caused their friend to overdose.
