I was following billy from 14 and I can tell you a lot smaller than grace ( of course grace is 16 but she JUST turned 16) trust her grace has so much positive traction around her she’s going to light off, everybody in the industry loves her and she’s one of the most award artist before the age of 16 in history. Her label has held her back because she wants to attend normal school and live a normal life but by time she’s 17-18 (maybe 16 if she chooses) she’s going to be HUGE! I mean how many 16 year olds are in Forbes 30 under 30 ( by the way shes the youngest ever) and are fender signature artist ( she’s the youngest ever) plus award winning artist AND a IMG fashion model.. I mean come on failure isn’t even in this girls vocabulary and when ever she’s ready she’s going to take off! i don't think you can categorize Grace's music. All her songs come from he soul, and that is as unique as herself.

Julia Hart (director) said Grace wrote the song on set. Ido (producer) said on his IG post Grace recorded it in "one magical take". And Ken Riley (engineer at Rio Grande studio in New Mexico) said she played the uke while singing. AND she was 14 at the time! Words like impressive don't work anymore on this astronomical talent.

Yes, we get to hear Grace virtually a Capella without over-production. That, I believe, is why her live performances are invariably better than the studio.

I've been telling people Grace is a genius since AGT. It has always been so obvious and it has been frustrating having people just say, "yeah, she's cute" or "well, she's talented, but..." I'm going to be proved right pretty soon.

Same, I hated music until I heard hers, then I couldn't get enough.

Yeah, but they might also go "she's a real talent" and since real talents are so few and far between, they may decide they don't have to change anything. Its so difficult to do what she does she can only spawn poor imitators. So figure they will try to slog along with the same tired formulas because they don't know what else to do. On the other hand though we could get a really great breakthrough song from Grace that is so different and so catchy it would be impossible to ignore. Something about it could inspire lots of imitators but in a good way, and then yeah, the industry would have to take notice. It seems something along those lines maybe happened with Avril Lavigne and "Complicated". Other artists too.

I meant the style of music which she quite obviously has a huge gift for, and which flows from her naturally. It's often best to concentrate on something that's unique for you and become great at it instead of trying to cater to the masses.
