World Circuits Race: GT Cup Gr.3
Race Track: Daytona International Speedway
AI Setting: Normal
Vehicle Used: Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II
In this video we take a look at how to get the gold trophy for the GT Cup Gr.3 at Daytona International Speedway. As usual we take a look at our choice of car, the tuning of our car and how to run the race to secure the gold trophy using the Normal AI settings. This is another Last To First race.
This Ford GT is absolutely fabulous around here and with a brave strategy we managed a race long strategy to bring this one home in first place. Towards the end of the race, the pressure built, fuel was a worry and the second place racer chased me all of the way to the line once I managed to catch him and then get by on track.

I love racing on motor racing sim games and Gran Turismo has been my favourite for many years. I have been playing GT7 since it was released on my other profile, but this is a complete rerun on my new profile for my new PlayStation Racer channel and my new team Mitchell Morgan Racing. As this channel develops, I plan to try my hand at other motor racing games and those will also feature from time to time.
On this channel I will be touching on nearly all of the elements of GT7 gameplay, sharing my hints, tips and experiences with my audience as I play through the game from start to finish.

These races don’t work like this anymore. You can’t even tune your cars.

Yeah I can’t compete with the top 7 cars. There is a huge gap between the first 7/8 cars and the rest. Even with clean laps I can see my acceleration is slower than the top cars and it ever slow inch further behind. So frustrating

I am currently working through all of the World Circuit races that I did not complete , or did not get gold, in the Menu book challenges. The only tires it’ll let me use on this race is racing hard, tires, racing intermediate tires and racing wet tires those are the only tires it allows me to use and it will not let me adjust anything in the tuning area and it has the BOP turned on on this race for me for some reason

At 1:45 you said you were going for fuel map level 3, exactly how do you set that, I'm using the Logitech G29 wheel. Thank you Mitch

I am using the G29 as well. Click the red button several times to pull up the fuel map and then rotate the red button surround to set the fuel map value.

I believe that it is default gif the G29. Might be worth checking it in your controller settings though.

@@playstationracer67 I will check that out. My next dumb question is why does it make a difference if you even set it? There's much more to learn with the PS5 and GT7 vs my PS3 and GT6. I certainly appreciate you taking the time to answer questions, you've been a big help.

Setting a few Map higher will give you a more lean mix which means you can do more laps on the tank of fuel. Setting the fuel mix Lean, i.e. for five or six means that sometimes you don’t have to pit when the other cars are pitting. Sometimes that can save you 20-ISH seconds in a race and jump places.

How can you race on mediums? It doesn't allow RM, only RH, wet IM

PD changed the parameters for these races recently. We were able to use different tyres when I did this race.

Unless i cheat, there's no way I'm paying anyone in the first lap in the C7. I want to race in some GR3 races, but the only ones i have there just no way of getting any remotely clean overtakes worth getting........ even a super clean race, i only managed 9th place. Without being able to tune my car is tag. The c7 is terrible
