My sister, Heather, tried to kill herself in 2001. She hung herself in my bedroom because my legal father threw me out at 18. Every single time I hear this song it helps part of my heart. Hearing Granny preform this in Seattle is one of the most intense sensations I've ever felt in my 40 years on this planet. Grandson - I wouldn't be here without you, Missio, and K. Flay. I'm proud of you!

Thé perspective and personalization is insane. I lost someone very close and important recently, and I really wish I got the opportunity to thanks for all they did before they passed. I had so much more to say to them and so many more memories to make. The biggest regret when someone passes is the things you never said and opportunities that were missed. I’m still working through it and I hope you’ll get through it as well. Rest in peace Heather.

I've had to worry about whether or not my best friend would get through another day. She's like a sister to me. And I'm lucky enough to still have her with me now. You never get used to that fear that your friend might just suddenly disappear. I really can't put into words how this song makes me feel. To anyone who sees this, you matter. Your problems are valid. You deserve help. The only thing you don't deserve is the pain you put yourself through.

For everyone who isn't ok, remember, there is someone who's life is better because you're apart of it. Take this from someone who has been on the edge of giving up more times then I can count. It is worth trying. As hard as it gets, as painful as it feels, as lonely as it might be, it does get better with time. You're strong enough to make it this far, you've worked hard, to get this far. Don't give up and let it be worthless.

rest in peace heather 💛 for anyone who needs to hear this, i promise you, it does get better. i wish i could have listened and had hope when people told me that, but for the longest time i couldn't. it took me years to feel ok again, and i still didn't feel like life was really worth living until very recently. but i'm so grateful i made it this far. i'm engaged now and i graduated college magna cum laude this year. blasted grandson to and from class almost every day, and got my fiance to listen too. now we're coming to your concert this summer, and i can't wait. thank you.

Jordan, your music found its way to me shortly before the pandemic and I had a chance to see you at okeechobeefest 2020 the same week they started shutting everything down. This song caught me off guard. I was distracted when it came on and I heard it for the first time today. And then all of a sudden I caught what it's about, looked up the lyrics. Immediately started balling and the world stopped. My heart goes out to you and Heather's family and anyone reading this or hearing this song who is hurting. It does get better.
