Gratchet 4s Bash & Break + Speed Run.....(Arrma Granite 4x4 3s BLX)

2 жыл бұрынWhats up guys, In this video we take the Arrma Granite 3s BLX and upgrade to 4s. To do so we installed a Hobby Wing Max10 ESC, and a Spektrum 2050kv motor (stock motor in the Arrma 6s lineup). Little bit of soldering and it all worked out. Then we throw on some Duratrax Hatchet 2.8 Belted Tires and add the rear wing from the Vorteks. It fits Nicely! Now all that is left is to bash it and break it! And we definitely break it....worst I've done yet. I hope you enjoy the video and there is a added speed run at the end for fun. Thanks!

Awesome video excellent run like the tires truck looks wicked nothing better than stripping a diff got all three on my RYFT. That was a hard hit on the ramp

9:44 WOW! That's new one I've seen a whole bunch of videos everywhere on youtube especially recently on rc cars especially reguarding jumps I've seen a lot of trucks getting destoryed after jumping the ramp this the only time I've seen the ramp get destoryed before the jump happens dough it would've been funnirer and cooler while the truck was airbourne hit the power make it backflip and land on it's wheels LOL! Another great job once again Sketch!

Nice! I converted my Granite to a Typhon 4s. I'm getting ready to run it on 4s with a 1700 kv motor and 15 tooth pinion but with Zd racing MT tires. They are quite a bit taller than stock Granite and Typhon tires. I also have a 2900 motor but it was running a bit too hot with these Zd tires and a 21 tooth pinion on 3s. I had to drill out my grub screw on my 21 tooth pinion because it got stripped out. I think the 1700 on 4s will be quick enough.

MY GRANITE IS MY NEW FAVORITE ...after taking it back due to the back wheel sliders coming off every run (hobbytown fixed it )

@@SketchRC- So i just looked at your Tyco Psycho Typhon vid. I don't know if you've done it already but if you stiffen up the center diff it won't balloon the front tires as much.

@@troysrcchannel5659 No I had not nor tried yet. I know it's possible to do such things but I haven't really experimented with it. I need to learn though because it would help alot of ideas/projects. Appreciate the advice.

Great job. The 3s BLX is good for willies but with the 4s setup the granite wants to jump up when you punch it. All you need now is some wings and it might even fly. I was surprised to see that there are a few companies that sell after market diffs, metal gears, fully greased and ready to install. Their not cheap but I wonder if that would be a good option?

How is it today ? Was thinking of adding a center diff and throwing in a 120 amp to start and then maybe Some steel gears of the sticks fail . And some adjustable shocks

Me neither! Haha I think it was the one tire catching traction with the other not. It's kind of noticable in the slow mo. It catches and kinda spins....but who knows.
