i bought the 12mm adapters and they feel like they are for the wrong car, they have less depth then the standard 14mm ones and have loads of slop. so much you cant fit them and call it good,i havent used them. furthermore i cant find them on the arrma or duratrax websites. most annoying when you wait weeks for them from america to uk when a replacement 14mm hex would have been here n days :(

@@ineedajoint instead of using the duratrax adapters try these hot racing adapters hot racing ATF117XT02. They just started making them at the time of this video the duratrax hexes were the only way to go. The hot racing adapters Rich used in this video I always had problems with the center nut coming off the axle even with loctite and then the axle pin would fall out and I would loose the 12mm hex. The new parts you don't have any hex just the adapter

For rock filled/choppy dirt spots I found the stock tires too firm and bouncy to get maximum traction and speed. They're still great wheels. The stock shock design is fairly genius. No lost springs and no tools required. I simply wanted a higher volume shock. The plushness of Tekno shocks is fairly dreamy 😍. Yes you can tune the stock shocks for better dampening, but I also wanted 4mm shafts. The MX28s should absorb impacts and hard hits nicely. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

The gears are virtually locked into position the way the cases/towers are designed 👌. Hats off to whoever engineered it. That's a tough call between the Senton and Typhon 3s🤔. Both handle great and get the power down nicely. The Typhon is lighter and somewhat quicker being a speed truggy with low COG and less wind resistance. It's arms and links are slightly longer for a wider stance. The Senton has much more protection with bigger body, bumpers and nerf bars. Really up to you. They share the same chassis. No wrong choice. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I saw some on eBay and bought them and I thought they looked very familiar they were a little too small and had some upgraded jlb ones that were also too small so I said let's try the dhk ones and bam... Lol just figured you could save a few bucks especially if you need to do this on multiple cars. I think the full set should be about 20-25 from rc hobby explosion. Just be careful and don't make the same mistake I did. They sell them individually so you need 4. They seem to have the most in stock dhk stuff in the U.S.. Hope this helps!

Thanks brother 👊!!! No fitment issues that I recall. Used the Tekno pivot balls already on the rod ends. Think I used 1.5mm HR spacers in the front between the arms and ends. Think I just used heat shrink to take the slop out at the tower. Just loaded a vid tonight on the Typhon 3s with Turnigy 4mm shocks. Worth a look for sure. Only 32$ for all 4 😱🤘🤘😎💪👊👊
