@@jadenmoyers837cause you can’t control injuries that’s complete different from someone like Anthony Bennett who had the ability to work hard and chose to be lazy and not get better. Greg oden was doing really well until that injury and Markelle Fultz is actually doing better now in his career after the injuries.

@@Nick-sr4fe like I already said, being a bust is based on the level of production that you put out for your team. It is unfortunate that odens career was ruined by injury but you have to call oden a bust because he played 105 games as the first overall pick

Side note: When he did every team’s worst draft bust, he picked Bowie instead of LaRue Martin. Obviously it doesn’t get much worse of a missed opportunity than taking someone who can’t stay healthy over Michael Jordan, but Bowie had more of a career than Martin did (and LaRue was taken first right in front of Bob McAdoo himself).

The funniest part of this is just how many of these games happened in December and January. The time of year in between Christmas and the All Star game where most teams have significant injuries and star players are injured/going through little slumps.

@@fortynights1513IMO, anything deeper than maybe the 10th pick. Kobe Bryant went 13th, fairly high, but he was definitely worth a far higher pick. Hell, you could argue MJ was a draft steal for 3rd overall. The only pick slot I wouldn't argue for a steal is #1 overall for the simple fact that you cannot go any higher and that someone #1 overall is expected to succeed. Also I would include undrafted players like Ben Wallace

@@GiveMeYourFACE9089For the Bulls, I’d argue Jimmy Butler (his best work might not be there but Chicago drafted him). MJ was already considered to be a top prospect from the sounds of it. Also, I would include Steve Nash for Phoenix (that’s post lottery). Jokic for Denver obviously. And maybe Marc Gasol for Memphis.

I do) Other best steals would include Pascal Siakam, possibly Fred Van Vleet for Toronto. Perhaps famous child respecter Karl Malone or his teammate John Doesn't-take-shots-on-or-off-the-court Stockton for Utah.

@@GiveMeYourFACE9089Malone is more of a steal than Stockton in my opinion. A few spots higher, but he is considered the better player in general. For the Lakers, Kobe if you want to count them trading for him. If not, shoutout to Nick Van Exel for making an all star team and having a pretty good career for a second round pick (when there were two rounds).

I’ve had arguably the worst day ever. I can’t say too much but everyone at my job is disappointed in me after I really messed up and I feel like I’ve lost their trust. I feel like I might lose my job because I can never do anything right. 😔 I wish I can be a better human being and a better coworker. I blame the Cavs for the Anthony Bennett pick. It was the most confused i've been since Darko over Melo. Im in Vegas and watch UNLV that year a lot since i had a scholarship and possibly going to play with him but he was a good COLLEGE role player. No secret he was a 10-12 roster spot guy in NBA even back then. I like to think they threw darts while blindfolded that year.

As a Cavs fan I can say I was very wrong when in the 2019 draft I was quite mad about them drafting Darius Garland over Jarrett Culver. I thought he was very good and we needed a wing (kind of still do) + we already had Collin Sexton. Glad I wasn't the GM in that draft.
