I was as close as hitting the button to complete the order when I decided I really didn't like the idea of K1's non-removable magazine and the fact it's made in China. I'm currently waiting for my Prophet to show up. I went with the .25 but, I'll be getting the .22 barrel very soon

I do not know the BC, if is also not really a fixed value, it is dependent on velocity and the barrel (shape and size...). I shoot this with "shalle base skirts" pellets. The pellets were straight out of the thin, not sorted in any way.

RTI standard barrel is quite good with pellets as well as slugs. The pellet long range barrel is not that good with slugs, maybe with lighter version of slugs it is still OK. Till now, RTI does not have a dedicated slug barrel.

I admit that it is quite loud but probably not as much as you might think form the video. I do not use a lot of audio compression like most cameras have. You can also see this form how loud is the ping when the pellet hit the plate at 100 m. Also, there is a valley in between that creates echo...

It has been a while since I tested .177 and also, the long barrel for .177 does not exist (yet).

I would suggest to try to reduce the hammer spring tension... I don't see any reason why it would be louder under 150 bars other than if the hammer spring is set to too high tension and the hammer hits the to the end of the valve travel.

If you will only use 12ftlb, it makes no sense to go to Prophet. That is unless you don't like the straight pull design, then go for Prophet.

Hm, yes I agree, their length of pull if very short and for a bigger person, this is awkward ... I don't know of any product that would directly fit the but plate unfortunately. BTW: do you have the adjustable but plate on your Prophet (the one that comes in performance version)? That but plate also extends the length of pull somewhat.

I posted this same question over in the AGN forums and someone did tell me that (apparently) one of the FX third party ones will work. I"m going to look into that when get a chance. I don't have exact figures. I was shooting 2 magazines from 250 bar fill but the pressure was not at the reg level when I finished. I assume you could get about 3.5, maybe 4 magazines from 300 bar fill.

No, that is not true. The only thing that RTI is saying is that the 5,5 long range barrel is designed for pellets not slugs, but some people are reporting that it shoots slugs very well also.

I get this question all the time, the problem is that I almost never charge the gun to its max pressure because I never have that much in the bottle. I average charge to 250 bars, with that I get more than 3 magazines. If you tune the gun down, you will of course get much more shots as the relation between power and shot count is not reverse linear. The shot count increases more than the power goes down, so it is entirely up to the user.

@@derivas007 Not sure you can get the same energy out of a Tac Comact as you can the Priest. You would have to upgrade it with a longer barrel, larger tank and probably a plenum. It wouldnt be a Tac Compact anymore. My .25 Tac Compact is only sending the 25.9 JSB's out the barrel at about 840 fps. That is about 40 fpe. Not even close to what the Priest is doing, even in 22. I think a better comparison would be the FX Impact for muzzle energy, but you are paying a lot more than you are for the Priest. That was my point about RTI giving FX a run for their money. It is putting out the same accuracy and energy as an Impact. All they have to do is come out with a slug barrel and Im in. Forget the Impact.

@@bluewater454 you speak about dream compact but you can buy dream tact 500mm barrel and achieve same range of energy than you priest! on top of that you energy limitation on you tact will depend you generation...the latest is powerful because it come with new valve and inclued the new plenum. priest is not a lot cheaper than impact you need to campare what is inclued in the price range..impact has more features,come with a great case and carbon bottle,more magazine pellets,fully ambidextre leveler...so yes you will have 300usd less expansive but you have not as good results you can have with liners slug from fx. priest is a fantastic gun but for me it s not better than impact...the new dreamline serie which inclued 17cc plenum more (and you can add an another 17cc if you want for less than 30e).they are many features who come from huma air like enlarge transfert port...i let you to search on the web and you will see the improvement from new batch...for the same price than standart priest 2....

@@rokavbar2248 look at French forum review (forum airgun). I have something like you said(hatsan factor and you can see my French review pseudo titeuf). Yes for the price point I think priest could be add more features like others pcp at this price point. On FX dream tact compact standard you have all in include for 900€..here to increase the power you need to set up the regulator to 170bars that is not Optimum if you want food shoot count and not as. Good for a gun which have 50cc of plenum... Transfert port or similar is not well tune for higher power... On FX you can buy for almost nothing some tune mod.. Some of them are included on their latest models like plenum extension. I really like the priest and I don't buy one because of that... Other things it s not ambidextrous .. If. I compare with my hatsan factor at half the price...

@@rokavbar2248 I don't have a priest personally but I have read and speak with a member of French forum. But I have some FX gun and hatsan factor so I can compare.. All my gun are mod by myself so I know very well the airgun world. I have tuned two airforce condor with lobo barrel and regulator. So I know where is the limitations about a gun.. And here with 170bars, I can say you that is not Optimum setting for shooting slug.. It prove that you have limitations Somewhere (transfert port, valve, or spring valve).

@@rokavbar2248 I don't say you 170bars is a problem it s just not optimized.. You loose shoot count and high regulator setup. Are less efficiency.. You can check my deep post about this... Bigger plenum is to reduce pressure regulator and increase the efficiency. Here you are a very good plenum size without a correct valve setting to reduce pressure.. That not great!! Yes I can compare only with what I owned but I have 6 pcp so I have a little bit experience about limitations. For me, FX is a better value because you have a lot more feedback and guide... And more features include and I don't speak about tune part available... The dreamline. Has 2 generation with a better valve optimization. It s what I like on FX!

@@rokavbar2248 it will depend you tank.. The Effiency on FX. Dream with latest generation is very very good(1ms spread deviation). Don't forget that the priest is similar than dream line serie(side level, ar15 grip, bottle m18*1.5..). The advantage about priest is higher plenum which is not Optimize and bullpup design. But it s higher price for less features and less tune Acccesorie available... And a lot less reseiller out of. There if. You havea problem
