The best way to handle this kind of horse is to praise their super smarts, their feistiness, their stubbornness, their endurance, their character, their beauty. Love them as hard as you can, because they FEEL it. You don't break them, because you CAN'T break them. You make them your baby. You let them know that THEY are your very special love. Of course, no one else will be able to do anything with them.
