I'm finding that the DS20 screws (countersunk 1.8 x 4 mm black) don't 'bite' and often it feels like I've stripped the hole. That is actually not the case. The real reason is that the DS20 screws are too short. Countersunk screws are measured for the entire length whereas pan-head screws are measured under the head. So there's barely a thread trying to 'grab' the other side. One solution is to use a countersink bit to deepen the through hole side just a tiny bit. The other solution would be to source 1.8 x 5 mm countersunk screws and replace the DS20s.

M1.8 flat-head machine screws appear to be very hard to obtain (at least here in the USA). I'm considering just using M2x5 -- perhaps rethreading with an M2 tap if needed.

Gibt es eigentlich eine Bauphase, die man "verbocken" kann? Ein Fehler, der sich nicht mehr rückgängig machen lässt?

Nein, das gibt es nicht, da alle Teile gesteckt oder geschraubt werden. Die wenigen Bereiche in denen geklebt wird, beziehen sich auf Leitungen oder Schläuche. Verbocken kann man hier nichts...vor allem nicht, wenn die Videos gesichtet werden. Und solten mal Teile kaputt gehen, gibt es unseren Ersatzteil-Service :-)
