It's the exact same thing for girls,your voice box is pretty much your "larynx" which both men and women have. Girls just dont naturally have as deep of voices but im sure you're capable of it! just may need to practice more! Also you should check my band!

That thing that he's pointing at is actually an Adam's apple, which only men have. So I'm a little confused on that part of the video, lol.

@@denaeward2343 a little late but both men and women have the thyroid cartilage, which in men is called the ‘Adam’s Apple’ as it is more pronounced. To answer the original commenter, (and maybe your question) everyone has a larynx (vocal cords) or else you would be mute. I think what he means by ‘lowering’ it is to tense the muscles nearby that area. Hope this helped, this video was a ride.
