I remember when I was a kid, me and my brother used to play growtopia together. We were working hard together and after half a year we got our first diamond lock through hard work. A week ago I remembered growtopia and started playing it again. Two days later I noticed the differences of prices and a lot of other stuff, and when I got my first dl today, I was super happy remembering the old days, now after I saw other prices which went up DRASTICALLY since when I played, I dont even want to play the game

I wish Seth and Hamumu never sold Growtopia. The game would probably be at a better place now. Ubisoft literally destroyed and burned a great game named Growtopia. I still remember the day they signed the deal. It's sad to see what the game has turned into only because the devs decided to sell their community to Ubisoft. Im sure if they sticked to the game, they'd have made more money than 4mill.

as someone from pixel worlds, it’s interesting just seeing how a game that is basically the same fell.

GT applied Simpleness / Freedom. Its economy is decided by the market price. a good example of a Free Capital Economy. but when we see world owner using Royal lock to silence your freedom of trading peacefully to force you to buy from had 1 block vend. is just insane. How Ubisoft added such a thing. I remember how many good worlds turned to bad ones because of this. In addition the portals used by world owners to get fossils is an another way to bother and waste players time. Also the many un studded dead items they added which make the items lose their uniqueness and value. I believe when growtopia forget what it actually made it speacil is where it doomed to fail. Latest update were you need a specific level to break a block or enter a world is a way to dig a grave.
