Is it normal to get lost in this game? I tried playing last night on the first mission but my dumbo butt couldn't figure out where to go...

first time it can be common for some of the levels ive noticed. There is a compass on the top of the screen above your shield bar, The orange door is represented by the orange rectangle as I assume you could figure out. There is also a scan function that will show you nearby objects of interest such as the key jar and other things, this is binded to "i" by default I think but you can always look in binds. Hopefully those could aid you in your search for the door
