these are amazing as they are low glycemic. and AMAZING fiber. really cleans out your colon so you are never constipated. that is really important to prevent any cancers in the colon. keep the organ entirely clean.

Yes, the pink quava is certainly tasty, with it's exotic, flavor and aroma, but give the White guava a try as well. It is a versatile fruit that can be eaten in the immature state when it's crispy flesh will remind you of an apple, or it can be left on the counter to ripen and will have that tropical flavor you will recognize as in the pink guava.

Your video is awesome, thank you. Question please. Does a Maroon Guava have the same texture as the Strawberry/Pineapple/Thai ones? We just bought a Maroon Guava & have one Strawberry Guava growing from a 1 ft, plant. She is fruiting beautiful this year, but is the Maroon the same? Thank you..

I just bought a Ruby Supreme Guava today. I have many fruit trees in my front and back yard, so I was planning on planting this in my front lawn along with the others so it can get full sun. This year Im going to trim back some of my trees because they are getting too big and bushy. Could the Guava tree be controlled too? Would it be possible to trim back a Guava tree after it sets fruit to control the height and width of it? Thank You..

hey amigo....i took a strong interest in guava because of its nutrition....;so i found some at my local walmart....but what is strange is that the type i found were a lot smaller than what you'r'e presenting....and,the seeds were,i have to admit,an irritating surprise and i thought it would be an "easier" experience...does anyone know if the larger fruit sizes have softer seeds...thanks! scott in NH

I'd like to see agricultural geneticist try to make a hybrid guava that can grow in the northern climates. Cuz I live in Pennsylvania I have fig trees and some kiwi plants that work up here . Obviously they're not as good as the regular plants grown in tropical areas.

Sad to say but Soursop, or guanabana, does not grow well here in South Florida. It is not cold tolerant and is often plagued by pests. There may be an occasional tree that someone protects in their yards, but I know of no commercial groves. Sorry. I hear it is a wonderful fruit.

What is the best tasting guava that will grow in South Florida? Someone mentioned Red Malaysian in California, but he didn't mention if it can grow in South Florida. The aroma of guava is very inviting, but I have never had a guava that had much flavor or sweetness. Of course, with added sugar, guava makes excellent deserts, but I would like to find one that tastes sweet off the tree.

Planting seeds doesn't always mean you will eventually have a tree that gives delicious fruit, as you do not know what tree pollinated that fruit that gave you the seeds. It's best to plant a tree from a reputable nursery. It will save you years, as opposed to growing a tree from seed, and you will know what kind of fruit you will get. Thanks for watching our video!
