Useful video! This is a random suggestion, but try to make sure that the smoke coming out doesn't get into your skin given that it's fairly complicated to get rid off, and personally I get some sort of allergy reaction to it. Just try to avoid that smoke coming out of the wire as much as you can.

NOTE: Cloth pushback wire is not the only wire that comes "pre-tinned". Amazon sells a 22 gauge stranded copper wire with silicone insulation that is "pre-tinned".
