About time......a Mustang. My first electric guitar new in 1966 blue. Since I sold it to go to university in 1969 I’ve had a 1972 Tele and a 1984 Strat but my favorite was that old Mustang. Something about the short scale suited me. Been looking for one for a few years but now Oh Chap everyone’s going to want one and the price just went 3x. Thanks Mark 😩

Nice to see the switching at work. Also Johnny Winter had one, Cool plus 22 frets. Also nice that Joe B is offering something so rad to Norm's cause.

Thanx for letting us hear both in and out of phase Markus. Sometimes ‘we’ kind of skip over some of the available sounds, don’t we? Well NOT today we didn’t. Today we got all of them. Except for the trem, which would have required retuning between chords- so no blame for not going there.

Mustang Thursday where's Sally??? Very cool guitar. Everybody seemed to own one at one time. The moved up to a real guitar. They were pretty good guitars but always looked down on. Todd Rundgren use to rock one back in the day. I remember him saying he liked the extra frets and the trem you can dump. Listen to the motorcycle guitar on bat out of hell that's a mustang.

John Hedigan Is that the original paint? It looks refinished to me. The paint seems very thin like they just put on one coat. You can see the wood grain through it. I had a racing stripe mustang from 67 i believe and the paint was much thicker than that.

And I'm not 100% sure. I'd need to see a wiring schematic to be sure, but I think it's a high likelihood. So even though both choices are in phase, and both are out of phase, they are ever so slightly different. But at the end of the day, all that's left is rock and roll.
