Does this people even listen to what he's saying? He said he wants to give you a little history about his playing and who he is, so stop fucking commenting that he needs to shut up and play because he was clear at the beginning of the video on what he was gonna do first. Thank you. Chris... Such a great person/musician.

Chris came to my band's Megadeth tribute night in Cork, Ireland recently. I literally shat my pants when I saw him, but what's more is that I had to get up on stage and play most of the lead parts that he was gonna be playing the night afterwards haha. Then on top of that, while we were playing, the rest of Megadeth arrived. Talk about pressure!!!

Lol, that's how I got into music. I was a jock football player in middle school then I started to not get along with those kids. So one Christmas my parents out of random got me a skateboard, fell in love with it. Then I got skate shoes and met some kids that were into punk, played bass, drums, guitar, and the rest is history.

... so nice to see a guitarist that is not full of himself, and did not change doing what he likes ... the greatest thing about Chris is his character, and is what you ideally try to achieve in your career, and many never realize that's more important than being a big hot shot in the music field :) so, with such healthy character it does not matter what you will be doing, it will be always great :)

He truly loves the guitar, you can tell from his desire to master anything associated with it, be it classical/metal/everything in between. There are a lot more people who simply love a single stilted portion of an artistic discipline, rather than the discipline itself, and everything under it. I admire and sympathize with his love of skill.

I really respect chris Brodericks disciplined approach to learning and playing guitar. His desire for perfection and proficiency has led him to develop into a guitarist who can play the most technical of guitar pieces in peak form. I really admire the level of proficiency. I can't think of to many guitarist who can touch him based solely on technical ability.

I feel like chris broderick wasnt really utilized properly in megadeth. i mean, endgame his guitar playing was completely phenomenal and i was hoping the song style from end game would continue. it didnt and even though i loved 13 and even liked super collider, he wasnt really putting all of his style into those songs.

I'm a classical guitar major as well and man, I did not have a library of classical guitar music or the technical aspect or classical guitar either. It was tough! but he's right, it's so cool and a great style to learn and apply in different elements of music.

I met chris broderick last weekend at a megadeth meet n greet, he is honestly one of the kindest people i've ever met. In my opinion and I'm sure most people (at least guitar players) will agree that he is the best guitarist in the big 4
13 жыл бұрын
It's a nice coincidence that Malmsteen's rise to fame was at the same period that he was into classical music to kind of to be able to interconnect his both passions. Apart from that, I can relate to all Broderick's talking about and I'm happy that he replaced Drover in Megadeth. He loves music and guitars against all those genre-lovers and I appreciate that a lot!
