I used to live in NJ. We had a family friend who lives there come to visit us in Indiana and he took multiple 30 rounders back home to NJ 😂🤣

@@nomoreapologies1 Yes. Now it goes much further than that too. Prohibiting people not convicted of any crime but that have had treatment for depression, alcohol problems, on certain prescription medications from their doctors, had episodes as a result of diseases like diabetes etc. Now even requiring an assessment from your doctor in which your doctor can decide if you are unsuitable, a process that has been abused by anti firearm medical staff and doctors.

It's great to cite one's Constitutional rights. But if one ends up in prison without their guns (which were seized and sold, money pocketed by the State), what practical good is claiming what is your right when clearly it wasn't honored? There's gotta be a deeper and more practical means to be on the offensive to the POOP TSUNAMI flooding in, rather than continual defensive.

I'm a Resident of NJ. Thanks for speaking out on this guys. We're not allowed to conceal carry and they took away are lousy extra 5 bullets when we were already limited to 15. This state is Hell but it's important to point it out because these politicians are trying to do this everywhere. Coming soon to a State near you.

Justin D that’s a negative from here in Texas. Only bad thing is you blue state tards are leaving your over regulated and taxed states to come to states like Texas and Idaho and fuck us u because y’all still vote the same dumb way. I fled Jersey in 1992 and got my parents to leave in 2012. They were paying 16k a year in taxes while their sons have been out of school for over 25 years. I love the Jersey peeps and food but they are horrible towards their subjects.

I am from New Jersey and before this ban officiall passed my uncle and I were going around to gun shops, like gun owners do, and all of the shops we visited openly told customers who asked about the ban to not follow it.

There is an old saying among us gunners here in the Northeast about NJ. If you don’t live in the NJ and you are a legal gun owner in another state? Avoid NJ. Yes I know federal law allows you to pass through the state. It doesn’t matter. Don’t do it in NJ.

They are trying to ban magazines over 10 rounds here in Washington State. I am fighting it tooth and nail, but I need help from people in my state. I can thank Gun Gripes for helping motivate me to join GOA as well as make a major life decision I recently made, which is to dedicate all of my free time to being a gun rights activist. I spoke at the Boulder City Council meeting during the open comment period, of the 120ish speakers, only a dozen or so were actually for the ban, and half of those didn’t even live in Boulder. The council was going to pass it either way...complete posturing move. At the last tally, I think less than 100 rifles had been “certified”(granted permits), and none surrendered to the police. Thanks for the mention!

I’m from NJ and it’s only going to get worse. New Jersey and the north east in general needs help in keeping our rights. Hopefully this ban goes to the Supreme Court and we can get some of our rights restored. To add gun violence has increased since the ban was signed. Actually the day after it was signed in there was a Trenton art show that had a shooting.

Oregon Senate Bill 501.. It limits citizens to a 5 round magazine It limits as purchasing 20 rounds per month. It makes it so you have to get a permit cleared by the local sheriff to purchase a firearm.

Can you do one about Oregon sb501 It amongst other things bans ammo feeding devices that hold over 5 rounds(might include revolvers) and limits buying ammo to 20 res a month. Need to get more people informed about it

YES !!! I have been saying this almost my WHOLE LIFE !..... The first time I can ever remember a new gun law being passed as a kid I questioned my grandparents about how they would enforce that law. My grandfather laughed. ANYBODY who asks me about my thoughts now when It comes to a nation wide gun ban I laugh and ask them this question. " Do you know how many legal gun owners there are in the United States and do you also know what the total number of military and law enforcing of any form currently is ??? " . Ninety nine prevent of the time people answer " no, I don't know " I then always tell them that if they look up what both these numbers are they will really have to wonder how ANYONE in any form of government in the United States plans to implement a national gun ban and actually be able to take a legal gun owners guns away. I'm surprised you guys haven't mentioned the magazine ban that happened in Vermont last year, signed by our Republican governor. Fortunately our mags are grandfathered, but we went from the most gun-friendly state in the US to an anti-gun state overnight. WE WILL NOT COMPLY!

The matter is simple “We the People”, as a coast to coast and border to border conglomerate, must retain the armed might to, FAILING ALL OTHER RECOURSE, overthrow our own government. It is a gut wrenching and heartbreaking option, but an option that must be potently retained for the sake of our liberty and the liberty of our descendants. The Declaration of Independence spells out this unalienable right to revolt, and lists some of the basic reasons for which it might be exercised.

I thank you as a NJ resident for your encouragement. My friends who have magazines that have capacities greater than 10 are not turning them in. They are concerned about being caught with the magazine and charged with a felony. So they are buying kits to permanently fill the additional positions. This is sad.

I’ve said this before but I’d like to say it again, if the government can give itself the authority to take your property, in this case guns, under the self proclaimed guise of an emergency (Red flag) then they will have the authority to take anything you own under the guise of an emergency. It’s common knowledge that states like New Jersey are going broke. well.....true...but, we do not ban high capacity magazines that can be made to hold more rounds.....we just put in an easily removed plug...of course getting caught with such has heavy penalties because we have the police (RCMP) making gun laws here....we have ATC (Authorization to Carry) permits available, which is concealed carry not just a permit to transport your pistol in a box....but because the RCMP are the issuing body, no one gets one....these days not even for working in dangerous bear country. I used to be able to carry a .44 mag in the bush when working in mining exploration, but that is almost impossible to get these days.

A lot of people gave magazines to gunsmiths for modification to limit them to 10 rounds...this has clearly reduced the number of magazines available to criminals since they now have to wait to get their legal magazines back for their illegal guns. The hell of this is that, if someone needed to use their firearm to defend their home and family and didn't have the low-cap magazines to show to police when they get there, they are going to be arrested, prosecuted, and lose their gun rights.

But I'm hoping you could explain it or point me to a reference. He just bought a sig p320 and wants a compensator for it, but the laws mention something about pin welding? Or is that rifles only?
