The most fsx steam edition thing was last week i was in a coast guard helicopter and there was another helicopter subbed out as a pirate ship so I called into saying, "Tower, this is us coast guard 3 requesting permission to intercept this pirate ship that is hovering over the airport right now."

No. Why would they be? I have a pilot's licence and I still don't fly 'properly' most of the time when using a sim. Because it's boring, and I can afford to take risks in a sim that I can't IRL... XD

FSX. Pretty accurate. The only major sim that's been actively updated in the last 15 years or so is X-plane, which went from version 9 to 11 in that period. Of course, now we're getting FS 2020 so... I guess that's changing.
