I must say I was moved almost to tears by the spectacular beauty of this island. I never realized how lush and picturesque Haiti 🇭🇹 is. And the people are nothing like the desperate masses depicted in the mass media. They r humble people living off the land that has been assaulted starved and ridiculed for generations by international parasites who represent the lowest form of humanity. I have scarcely ever been changed by a presentation such as yours. Now I know why Haitians r so proud. You have every reason to be. I’ve never had any desire to visit the West Indies but now I lust to visit the farmers of those fertile volcanic highlands. One day. Long live the Haitian revolution. Thank you 🙏🏼

Haitian Americans and Black Americans can make Haiti a better place. Instead of traveling to different countries, invest in Haiti's economy, and prove to the world that Haiti has a lot to offer it just needs help like any other place. In most Caribbean islands, the machete is a tool, not a weapon. It is uaed by farmers for digging, clearing brush and overgrown bush areas, chopping branches, weeding. Fishermen use it like a cleaver to cut large fish. Produce vendors use it to cut bunches off bananas, trim coconuts, cut root produce like yam, cassava, etc. Obviously, the people are used to the sight. That's why they don't react to it as a weapon. Very seldom would this be used as a weapon, like in the case of a snake attack or some encounter with some troublemaker.

Hi guys, Thank you so much for this special trip to Haiti. I am all the from India, but you know what, in the year 2005 I came to Haiti for the first time in my life. My mission was to train the young people in Skills Development so that they can be empowered with economic development. I fell in love with this country, it is so beautiful, the people were kind to me and always I wanted to come back. Thanks once again for this wonderful document on Haiti.
