This is an Arthur Hills-designed golf course. I always liked his courses. He designed Black Gold (Yorba Linda, CA), CrossCreek (Temecula), the famous Bighorn (Mountains course, Palm Desert), among others. Nice round.

Nice round of golf Carson, out of the dozen or so rounds I've played there I think only once was there no wind. Then off to Sam's or Pasta Moon

I appreciate that! Good question, I have always seemed to have a better feel without a glove. I’ll wear one from time to time, but normally I just go barehand after a few holes because it just doesn’t feel natural to me wearing one.

@@carsonjoens Reason I asked is that I prefer not to wear one as I think I lose feel. Sometimes have to wear one if it gets hot/sticky in Queensland.

Carson great round . Heading to California this summer. Should I play half moon bay for a lot cheaper or pebble ?

Good question. If you have time for 36 then I’d play both HMB courses. However hard to ever turn down 18 at Pebble or Spyglass! The hard part at pebble is that Tee times are very rarely available if you aren’t staying there.

I’ve played pebble. As a non hotel guest you can call 24 hours in advance to check for a tee time. My wife booked my brother and I a surprise round well in advance without staying but I can’t remember how she did it.
