The guy who played Loomis was actually like a worker on set. They noticed he kinda looked like him and added a few practical effects. Not cgi. To make him look more like Loomis. Super great job I think.

FYI, the very ending scene where Laurie calls, Michael answers, she hears his breath and says "I'm coming for you" - this was all cut, the movie ended right after Karen's death

the Loomis effect in the flashbacks was a practical effect! there are behind the scenes photos showing the makeup and mask work! it is really awesome

Yup make up and prosthetics. Someone else did the voice, the same person who did the voice for Loomis in the 2018 movie when he says he needs to die on that tape recording with the pod casters

The guy that played Loomis in this is a look a like that was a crew member. FX genius Christopher Nelson added prosthetics. NO CGI.

My step-brother and I saw Halloween II (1981) twice at the theater when it was released. We loved that movie, and I still do. But for me, personally, and I am a 54 year-old Myers fan from the beginning, I love these new sequels, and glad Carpenter decided to cut the others from the story. A lot of Halloween fans will disagree with me on that, but the way they completed the night of 1978 in this movie, it completes Laurie and Michael's story. The other sequels just keep stacking the plot and bringing in new victims, people that had nothing to do with that Halloween night in 1978. I do like the original sequels as far as just enjoying them for what they are, but 1978-2018-2021- and 2022 completes a great story. I'm glad yall are hitting them all this year. That is so cool!

This new trilogy doesn't end the story in even a slightly satisfying way. They are awful on almost every level. They become the story of a traumatized victim desperate for revenge vs. some guy who doesn't know or care who she is. Wow, what a thrilling climax! The only reason that they have a confrontation in the first or third part is because Michael accidentally stumbles onto her property. So thrilling and exciting! Michael kills someone by kicking a door into a persons hand causing them to shoot themselves in their own face. How moronic! Shit, Michael is a side character in the thid part. You could've cut him out, given the movie a new name and no-one would've noticed.

I disagree but i respect your opinion. To me Halloween II (1981) is the true end of Michael Myers and Loomis. To me they both died in that fire and all the other sequels are Laurie’s nightmares. I think Halloween II definitively killed the shape. The intent of Halloween II was to end the Michael Myers storyline once and for all. The only reason they brought Myers back was for money. Had Halloween III been a success at the box office we may have never seen Myers again.

Theatrical cut wasn't any less gory. Only differences were you didn't see Lonnie spy Michael behind the bush; you didn't see Karen in the morgue; and at the end, after killing Karen, there's no phone call - Michael simply stares out the window and you hear him breathing. Excellent reaction as always.

The extended cut was a little more gory. Big John's death cuts before his eyes pop out in the theatrical. And I'm pretty sure the mob massacre is a little more violent as well.

Also Tommy's death was extended in this version. In the theatrical cut, you don't see Michael break the bat and stab him with it. In the theatrical cut he just hits him one time.

He didn't need to test it on the dead dude because he went on to stab like 4739824774 people with it. I do the same thing if I'm shopping for a gun. If it's not comfortable in my hands, im not leaving until I find one that is. Once I find it, I just know.

The font for this film's intro is the same as Halloween 2 from 1982. Same for Ends... They use the season of the witch font. Cool little detail.

On the DVD - it said he had "31" kills in this one! Oh, Lindsey DID survive - and she was the same actress that played little Lindsey back in 1978.

Michael sure can make or break a movie. I have a much new appreciation for this film after seeing Ends. I can take 97 EVIL DIES TONIGHT and a woman with an iron facing off against Michael more than this last mess they created.

I hate Kills and love Ends. I've been tired of the Laurie/Michael saga for a while, and think it ended perfectly in 2018. Kills is atrocious, and Ends actually tried to do something new and interesting, which I appreciated. Honestly wish Michael and Laurie hadn't been in it at all.

That was hilarious. Loved that she was covering her eyes as well as if she knew better not to be watching the movie. Reminds me of when I was a kid and my folks would put on an R rated film once in awhile and would say "Shut your eyes!" at the violent or scary stuff. Of course that made me want to see what it was that I missed when I got older (imagination was usually more interesting than what the actual bit was for the most part).

Yeah. People disliked it because they went in a new direction. So, it did not get a fair shake on its own merits. Halloween II was supposed to be the end of the Michael saga. He and Loomis died in the hospital explosion. I would have liked to see what other "stand-alone tales we had gotten after Halloween III.

Jim Cummings, the one in the past who gets shot by Hawkins, he's an amazing actor, writer and director. You guys should definitely check out his movies. Thunder Road is hilarious and heartwarming, Wolf of Snow Hollow is a top notch wolf movie.

This movie had its issues, but it was still pretty good. It's a damn piece of art compared to Halloween Ends though. I do like the small subtle hints of personality in Michael in this movie. Like when he grabs the girl's hair and stares at her for a second, definitely remembering her being one of the girls who locked him in a burning house. And when he uses Tommy's bat to kill him, that's definitely a bit petty lol

Also, Michael from the first movie and several others always sets his victims up in different ways. A sheet making them look like a ghost, the several knives in the dudes chest, the hung body from the first film, Michael has a flair for theatrics. Evil evil theatrics 😂

I just want to write that my name is Josh and i want to write that i have exciting news. Jamie Lee Curtis has finally been nominated for her very first academy award for the first time for the 2023 academy awards. she's been nominated for best supporting actress for her role in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once. how exciting it would be to see Jamie Lee Curtis walk up to the oscar stage and recieve her first oscar statue. especially after she came back and reprised her role as Laurie Strode in the recent Halloween trilogy for Blumhouse too..

One fact, the entire neighborhood was built inside of a sound stage. They didn't want all of the Things that come along with filming and an actual neighborhood. So everything you see in the neighborhood is inside of a sound stage. I think it looks pretty freakin amazing. The set lighting people are legend.

The "Loomis" from the flashback was a crew member who bore an uncanny resemblance to Donald Pleasance before they even did any prosthetic makeup. I believe the voice was an impressionist.

Michael Myers is the MVP of death with the highest kill count out of all the slasher villains. Accumulating over the entire franchise, Michael has killed approximately 160 people with 27 kills in this movie alone. The only thing that bothered me in this movie was when the town mistakes the other fugitive as Michael. Michael is between 6'3" and 6'6", about 230Lbs and an absolute unit of a human being which is not to be confused with a half balding, short and pudgy guy. Other than that I enjoyed this installment and your reaction. Cheers and enjoy the last film.

Great Reaction video from Mr. Cowboy Movies and wife. This is what we like about you two, the banter, the puns, and drop by from daughters. It makes your videos feel more genuine and less "scripted" than other ones. My fave pun this time was....The Mrs.:"What is his (Michael Myers)deal?" Mr. Cowboy Movies: "He's a psycho.......evil incarnate" and of course the "Extra Squirt" pun was a good one as well. In fact, there was alot this time by you two. I just finished watching Terrifier 2...move over Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Pennywise, Chucky.....there's a new Sheriff in town and his name is Art The Clown. This franchise is great, they gotta do a third movie now. Because the second actually beats the first...which is rare especially in the horror genre.

Beaujolais Nouveau is the first wine of the harvest. I'll try a bottle of it each year, but it's nothing that gets me all that excited since it's a lot like bubblegum. I'll try like 50 to 500 wines weekly though. It just comes with the territory with what I do for a living.

This entire film is summed up as Dr Loomis worst nightmare from the original film. This is a small town where barely anything happens, that means these people unlike us in our environments arent experienced with violence on a daily basis. That lends to inexperience and also a lack of need for it. I heard one guy say " i would just pull out an AR and waste Michael" but nobody in Haddonfield has a use for an AR. On top of that, the theme is fear, these people are terrified in high pressure situations that trained professionals fail in. I always tell my kids when it comes to movies,etc. you wouldnt have your sensibilities if you was that character onscreen, you would have theirs and you would more often than not, make the choices they make. Great reaction video though, entertaining!
