I agree, @@insertanynameyouwant5311, it really wasn't. Hammerfall had pretty decent CGI in their videos for the time. It's easy to forget how quickly this field has progressed until we today simply don't expect to be able to tell the difference between CGI and reality. Anyone who wish to examine the rate of progression themself should look at the water in Star Wars Episode II when Obi-Wan visits the cloners and compare it to the same in the _video game_ The Force Unleashed II that came out only months later. So yeah, this wasn't bad back in the day.

fun fact : I found hammerfall when one day I entered literature class before it actually started and my teacher was sitting there with his laptop and asked if we (me and a couple classmates) knew what manly music is and of course we wanted to know, second later the dude turned on 2 external speakers and started blasting this song

I started listening to Hammerfall when I was 14 - 15, and this is one of my favorite songs. Now I'm almost 35 with a 5 year old kid of mine own. Two weeks ago I played this song for him and he loves it! In fact, he's even started to learn English to be able to sing along with the chorus and understand its meaning.

My uncle used to play this all the time when I was little, and I've always loved this song specifically. It has definitely impacted my taste of music forever - and definitely in a good way. I'm 21 and I listen to almost every music genre out there. Metal, rock, electro, pop. When I was like 15 or 16 I discovered this epic music. Even though my music taste is somewhere else I still love this music. HammerFall, Helloween, Stratovarius, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Avantasia, Edguy, Kamelot and lot of other pure epic metal bands. This is like my childhood summed up in one song. I'm really thankful for all these years spent listening to these masterpieces :)

I've learned so much knowledge from listening to Rock and Metal music, helped to bring me out of deep depressions, the feeling of energy, positive thinking and euphoria I get every time I go to see a band playing life gives me such a high, why people need to drink in excess and take drugs when you have such good music like this is beyond me.

When this video was broadcasted on cable tv about 15 years ago when I was about 8 years old it was the moment that I fell in love with metal. I was playing or something when my father said "come and watch this" so I looked at the tv, heard the music and went completely crazy. I remember when I first watched this video. The scene where Hector appeared in the thunder hammering everything down blew me away. I was like OOOOOOHHHHH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDD!!!! This moment still gives me GOOSEBUMPS to this day!

When I was a kid.. I sang this song like : House on fire, house on fire. 😁 I heard my brother played this song many times. But I grew up to realise it sounds better and better with hearts on fire. 🔥
