Uncharted: the Nathan Drake Collection has a number of really interesting features that elevate it beyond the standard remaster. Here's a quick lowdown on what we've found so far.

explosion fx in uncharted 1 were far better on ps3 and the collection has updated nothing but the texture pop and and from this buttboy in the videos ow. mouth " texture pop in was not a. big problem on ps3 for uncharted" this is nothing but a port that now runs at 60 fps and has far less features ...I will pass on this. and stick to uncharted on ps3. and spend my money on halo 5, rise of the tomb raider ect etc

julio alcantara never had a ps3 neither naughty dog's games, so this is great for me, since i played most console games on my 360 and all multiplats on my pc... so yeah

+julio alcantara 60fps is a huge game changer itself, not to mention the texture improvements, lighting improvements, the ability to get rid of shitty motion blur.....

Hijynx87 yep, and bought an xbox to play its exclusives, such as halo, alan wake (at the time it was xbox exclusive, then i bought it again on steam) i was about to buy a ps3 when the "next gen" was just around the corner, but then i saw kingdom hearts remaster, final fantasy remaster, the last of us remaster, god of war remaster.... and oh boy now im into buying a ps4, because now i can get most of its relevant exclusives in 1080p 60fps witch i got so used to by playing on pc...

Im a huge fan of sonys 1st party studios and aren't ashamed of that, but I have never felt the need to go to a halo video and start shit with somone who prefers xbox, as harsh as it sounds I think its just a sign of not having enough going on in your life.

Amazing! I own the original but i might replace them with this collection. I normally on't like remasters, but this one is very well done, and i'd love to play a better version of the first title.

This and Shadow of the Colossus are the only 2 remaster I feel are worth buying due to the upgraded performance and additional features

"Despite the need to fit 3 games worth of 1080p60 video on a single blu-ray" What? You mean it's all majorly compressed on to the disk, then all extracted onto the hard drive of the PS4. Getting games on disk are just about pointless now. You install the game, the *entire* game onto the hard drive, and the only time your blu-ray drive turns on, is to check that 1KB file to make sure that it's the right disk, and then it turns off, as it reads everything else off the HD. That being said, I am so excited to download this beautiful collection and replay one of my most favorite video games series ever. The only thing that's majorly missing from this collection, is the multiplayer. Lots of memories (good and bad) from U2's multiplayer, so me and my friends are extremely sad to see it not included in the package. Nonetheless, ignore all the bait trolls, people. This is Digital Foundry and it's full of thick-headed PC elitists who just love to upset people like a little kid in grade school. They will look for any aspect to pick on, legitimate or not (usually not), and just make it seem like the entire game, and (put X system here) is complete and utter shit. Love whatever game and system you want, and have fun! Because that's all that matters! :)

2:00 does anybody mind clarifying for me the difference betw. camera and object motion blur?

+GINSHINKZL s Not to sound rude, but it's exactly what it says on the tin. Motion blur can be switched from either camera or objects. So when you swing the camera around, blur is added to it, adding a more realistic sense of motion, or you can just limit it to objects, like knocking into boxes, reloading a gun or Nathan's arms and legs during his jumps, or any movement really. It's really neat that you can tweak it like this.

new to ps4 this would be the best gift for us who came over to ps4 from 360 :) always wanted to give uncharted games a go. now i hope asking for a remaster of killzone 2 and 3 isnt too much :)

+WelcomeToReality Gears of War 1 360 version use Unreal Engine 3.0, Remake use Unreal Engine 3.5... is new graphic engine. uncharted collection is version of ps3 on 1080p/60fps Not cry please...

Simma down now Digital Foundry! This port is not all that. Only Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has a slight improvement due to the 60fps, which makes you feel like the controls and aiming has been improved as well. IMHO, Halo: The Masterchief Collection is still a better overall collection.

I never let the ignorant comments on KZfaq bother me or prevent me from buying a game or anything else because the comments are from absolutely nothin' but jealous fanboys from other platforms. Especially Microsoft fanboys. They're only jealous because this game isn't gettin' ported over to their preferred platform. brownsugarcandie2007, exactly. and I've played a little of the multiplayer from Uncharted 2 Among Thieves on PlayStation Now on my PS4 about 2 months ago. Yeah, PlayStation Now ran perfectly smooth on my connection on my PS4 because my ISP has the required speeds to run the service. My download speeds goes up to 50 Mbps but it hits up to 90 Mbps maximum. and My upload speeds goes up to 10 Mbps but it hits up to 12.20 Mbps upload speeds maximum. Which is capable of watching 1080p videos, 1440p videos and 2160p 4K videos that's up to 12 GB Which is also capable of live streaming 1080p videos that's up to 12 GB as well.
