I can’t push off the wall yet, do you have any tips?

For me it’s mostly finger tips but if you’re not there yet (to push away from the wall with your finger tips) try alternating leg drills. Exactly the same as this video but just do one leg at a time for a few reps and see how you get along. Once you can alternate your legs comfortably you can try this drill!

@@smartnothard2400 awesome! However I don’t think it’s my fingers that’s the problem, I feel like my low back and lat muscles or whatever ever back muscle is engaged in the drills is not strong enough yet, I could be wrong tho so I will try to push a lot more with my fingers. Also I can’t really hold the handstand yet, should I get back to the wall before I lose my balance? I won’t be able to be in the handstand that long tho after I’m off the wall so I may not have much control on the way back to the wall

⁠@@Lukesrandomsbro that’s your own answer!!! Everything you said and the best part is, is you know it already! Pull ups might be beneficial for your lats and back in general and for strength, and fingertips will come into play more when your adjusting during a hold but sounds like you’re not as far as you think!

how do you fall from a handstand safely?. I panic when I fall forward, i forget to rollup, hurt my shoulder the other day

When you're falling try to basically go into a cartwheel if you can

@@benjaminvanwey1385 it might sound silly but practice falling!! (Overbalance drills / practice). You can go into a forward roll (I personally don’t as I find it risky for my age and ability) land into bridge (I personally can’t nor have the flexibility or skill to) or the most common, ‘cartwheel’ out of it. Practice going up just a little to over ambitious (so you know you’re going to overbalance) and catch yourself on the way down. The better you get you’ll find you catch yourself with your hand(s) first, before your leg lands to save you. Depending on how far into your hand balancing journey you are, I’d say the wall should be your best friend throughout, but just don’t get to complacent with the wall. Once you have the feel for being upside down for time (timed reps / drills against the wall) and are comfortable with it your falls will be a lot more controlled and almost feel like slow motion.
