Welcome!
In this video, we are leaving Thailand and crossing the border into Laos via Huay Xai, Bokeo Province.
The crossing here is through the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge No. 4, which is only allowed by purchasing tickets and boarding the shuttle bus with all of your belongings.
Our family friends were very kind to offer us a place to stay for a few days while we explore the province of Bokeo and visited a few Mien villages in the area.
This was our second time in Laos, and we enjoyed experiencing the countryside lifestyle in even the most simplistic mountainous villages.
Everywhere we went, we were greeted with gracious hospitality.
Even though sometimes there were language barriers, we always managed to have a good time, especially when there's alcohol involved. :)

Shout out bokeo province. My wife's family still lives in a small village in the province between huay xai and Don Sao. Can not wait to be back.... Great video

While living in Laos I drank a ton of beer Lao and from my experience don’t drink it too much coz painful hangover is inevitable 😂

Why Laos remained still underdevelop . is it due to any other reason or what. Peoples seems friendly and the places look quite beautiful.

You’re right, everywhere we go, people are very nice and welcoming. Hopefully the country will do better soon, with all of the infrastructure development from China should help grow the economy.

Hello my friend, you have great videos, but is it just me or your videos is shaky while you were panning around. It's getting me headache. It's just something for you to correct.

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I’m still learning how to make videos, and I’m sorry about the jittery panning portions. I believe it is a combination of wrong frame rate and bad panning speed. After all the Thailand/Laos videos, I changed the settings and shooting techniques. Hope you see improvements in future videos :)
