I have just gotten one free and it’s incredible how well it runs... I simply adjusted the carburetor and replaced the air/fuel filters.

Sweet vintage blower I have always wanted a PB 200. I have a GT2101 weedwacker probably 1980s and a srm140da weed wacker 1970s I would guess

I hope my newer Echo will last as long as this one! Echo is a very good brand. What brand of synthetic oil did you run in this?

Did you replace the air filter, it looked pretty rough, Always question is it best to run treated fuel out of carb or leave treated fuel in carb when storing a piece of equipment for a few months, My friend just buys the pretreated fuel in qt or 1/2 gal containers from the small engine dealer, He said he has had less trouble with his infrequently run tools using this fuel, Any thoughts on that?

Hi nice video! I just bought a house and the homeowner had passed away so I couldn’t ask any questions. I found this exact model in the shed and my cheap electric one broke. This one started up right away but it doesn’t seem like I can find a tuneup kit for it. It carries a square filter sandwiched by two metal brackets and it was completely disintegrated. I made a felt one temporarily. How did you tune it up? Did you find an echo tune up kit? If so which part #? Thanks! Everything I found online is for the PB 250 which I think was a more newer unit than this oldie!!

You will have to buy the parts individually. Fuel filter a universal will do. Air filter you made should be ok. Carburetor model will be on the carburetor somewhere. Either a zama or walboro usually

it would have been n ice had he taught the preset on the IDLE screw and the High and Low run screws. I am thinking 1 1/2 turns out for the Idle and one for each High and Low ????????? not sure any one know for sure what they are ?????
@hanksgarage_
@hanksgarage_ 2 жыл бұрын
its standard knowledge that 1.5 to 2 turns is the norm. There is no "preset on the idle screw" it doesnt exist.

+Jeff Fowler eBay may be the best place for that or size up some abs or pvc pipes from Home Depot and make your own may have to bring the blower in to see what will fit
