Such a beautiful, sentimental and hearbreaking video. Love between a Father and a Son (or simply a parent and a child) and their mutual love for music, documented in those home videos, something so private but also worthy of sharing because who can't relate to that, at least at some point in time? I'm sure his Father's legacy - a talent for creating music - is the best way to healing for the son.

Very emotional and touching! It was always known Eddie, Wolf and Valerie were very close and had mutual love for each other even though they divorced. What a wonderful way to honor his dad. Hap, your emotional control in this reaction was truly professional, that's special. 💜🎵💜🎵 wonderful choice, Nanner!!

Aww, what a beautiful heartbreaking creation. I'm in tears too. I think a lot of people can imagine similar situations and that's what makes it so relatable. But seeing this video with these personal shots is very emotional and the relationship between parents and their children is always something special. It's nice to see the bond they had and it's amazing that Wolf seems to be continuing Eddie's legacy. Thank you for your emotional reaction HAP. I miss your beard 🧔🏾‍♂😉and get well soon☺. Hope you are feeling better soon! The name Mammoth WVH is the name of his dad's band prior to Van Halen (WVH at the end just means "Wolf Van Halen") This is the song he was nominated for a Grammy. Eddie actually died from a stroke after battling cancer. First he had oral cancer and beat that but then developed lung cancer. This song came out a month after Eddie's death but Wolf had been working on his own music as a coping strategy while his dad was sick and the album was delayed for the same reason. I believe he was working on a solo starting about 2015 but this didn't come out until 2020. He wanted to spend as much time with his dad as he could. Eddie was alive when he finished this song (not the video though) so was able to hear it. I remember seeing an interview with Eddie who got very excited when Wolfie was little when he found out he had rhythm. You can tell by the video that dad introduced him to various instruments VERY young.....and then onto playing bass with Van Halen at 16. Also didn't hurt that his uncle was the drummer for Van Halen! I'm surprised he doesn't have more videos (or songs) on his KZfaq page. I'd like to see them!

That was absolutely amazing. He passed away from cancer. You should try some Van Halen. Mean Street , Ain't talking about love. You will love it! Eddie is so incredible !

He does not call himself mammoth because of his size. He calls the band Mammoth because that was originally gonna be the name for the band Van Halen so it's Mammoth WVH which stands for Wolfgang Van Halen
