Agreed, he was. I never met Norm, but the closest I got to feeling like I made a difference was I tweeted a PDF of Tolstoy’s Confessions at him way back, and Norm favorited it. At the time it was one of only a handful of tweets he’d favorited (or saved - I can’t remember the iteration in place at the time).

The great thing about loving Norm and his style of comedy, is that there's decades of it. Another interview that's completely new to me. God Bless Norm's Soul

The chemistry between these two is so funny. Its like listening to two buddies who took mushrooms, but 40 minutes apart.

When I watched this it said there were two comments. Now; I'm not big into counting, but I checked and I am pretty sure there were only one. And I can see this being a problem if it said 3422 comments and it was just 3421, but realistically I would'nt count them, so I'm thinking: this is my chance. That's why I'm writing this to see if it says three afterwards.
@randomguy-3 жыл бұрын
To give you guys an update: it still said 2 comments. Now I'm flabbergasted. Edit: Still said two after this reply ...

_Was_ only one. When there's only _one,_ it _was,_ not _were._ I know you're just a random guy, but I'm a random asshole. We both have our roles, you see.

We miss you, Norm, I hope you were wearing your SPORTS cap when they laid you to rest. Jim Downey wrote most of The Californians, an idea Fred Armisen said would work great as a soap opera. :) 12:05 Amerika Sawyer, Jim! 26:13 Bill Hader was on the show one time! Norm set up a joke, his cohort fell for it, and Bill hit it home, pow!

Norm, the origin of "fake news"?
@murderc272 жыл бұрын
People grab at these terms that ultimately mean entirely different things, or nothing at all, without context. Now, let me explain something about context... ...someone else wanna jump in?
@thebrazilianatlantis1652 жыл бұрын
The expression "fake news" goes back into the 19th century.

Is Norm being political when noting Lorne but factual when pointing out that if Jim is not creating SNL he is doing similarly for Letterman?

This fill in guest host spot is a good example of how bad a misogynist Norm was. Jim Downey is a great man and I hope he lives for a long, long time to come.
