I bought the new Herc 3/8 4 mode impact and have exchanged it twice due to a bad bearing causing noise and vibration. I hope to eventually get one that doesn't do that after removing a couple fasteners because I like the tool.

I recently purchased the 3/8 brushless Hercules myself. I've been using the heck out of it with no issues. One interesting thing of note: the 3/8 and 1/2 in both put up the same (identical) foot lbs of torque, both forward and reverse (torque test channel)...interestingly, so did many of its competitors. Many brands it seems have the same actual real world specs between their 3/8 and 1/2 mid torques, even though they are listed on the box as being different.

That is interesting...glad you are enjoying it. Mine has been really solid as well. So far, to date, I haven't had any issues with Hercules. Granted, there is a lot of stuff I wish they would add, but aside from that...pretty solid imo.

Had all snap on and got tired of the high price. Got the Hercules before they even went brushless and got better performance for lower price.

I appreciate your video giving your honest opinion yeah I actually bought this earlier today and I have to literally shove with all my strength to get my quinn 3/8 sockets to go on they aren't impact or anything and I know I'm supposed to use impact ones but I haven't bought any of them yet why is it so hard to put a socket on these? Am I doing something wrong?
