Torque wrench is supposed to be held at the handle - the two hand thing won’t give you accurate number. Also watching you put the lugs back on with the wrenches made me cringe (asking for cross thread nightmare). Good comparison.

I bought a KIMO 20V Cordless Impact Wrench 1/2 inch, 2000 In-Lbs & High Torque 3400 IPM, and had several problems with it. 1) It wouldn't remove 150 ft lbs lug nut; 2) the battery didn't snap onto the tool very easily; 3) the socket didn't snap into place very well, either. My thought is that the drill isn't machined at the factory very well.

For an average person that just needs to remove wheels periodically, that kimo seems like a decent deal.

I've got a couple Kimo 12 volt tools that have served me well. I purchased the 3/8" cordless ratchet, and they sent me the drill driver for free. I was still a bit suprised that it beat the Herc though on that nut busting test.

The "wiggle" in the milwaukee you said for batterey fitment. In that application the is deliberate. Its so the all the soldered connections don get vibrated apart. The battery is allowed to move to limit that high impact jarring on the battery. Al😂l the big boys do that. Same with with hammer drills as well.

Are the batteries interchangeable

The 3/8 Hercules specs 229 fr/lbs vs the 1/2 which is 322 ft/lbs. The "Breakaway" is 30lbs more as well. So even it's worse spec is still quite a bit more.

Can you test out the Durofix/AC Delco 1/2 brushless compact? Same price range as the Hercules but its got more kick. Took out a 250ft lb bolt no problem and went all the way up to 500 ft lb, tapped out at 550ft lbs Edit: oh ur testing the 3/8

Hercules break away is 555ft pounds and for tightening is 229 ft lbs so please when reviewing please read the instructions properly before saying negative about a product. Hercules live up to thier product so many good things about hercules for the price.

Crazy... 3/8 vs 1/2. Why not the 1/2 vs 1/2. Any 3/8 to a 1/2 is a huge power difference... even in the same brand. Seems like Hercules is the better tool over all anyways. Plus 5 year warranty on tool, 3 year warranty on battery, and they have plenty of local stores around.

How do you think testing a 1/2” against a 3/8” is fair?

I'm trying to think how many fasteners on a car could be so hard to remove, that neither one could remove. Tool longevity and warrantee would be a consideration, not to mention the fact that you might buy other tools that work with the same battery. Harbor freight is in town if you need a replacement.

So last question. So what is the in general overall best $100 dollar impact wrench in your opinion?

Was this a 3/8 vs 1/2 impact test? You would think that the 1/2" impact would have the advantage.......

Apparently according to the video the torque channel put out it shouldn’t make a difference between the 3/8 and 1/2 anvil.

I e torqued axle nuts to 240 ft/lbs and I had to really lean on that wrench, those lug nut barely rocked the car, seems wrong
