Installing a Tickler kit on a Tilloston HD1&HD2 carburetor for my stock 1968 Harley Davidson XLCH Sportster. Do you need one on your Sportster or Big twin? Especially when the carburetor gas has evaporated from the accelerator pump?

Thank you, I hope you enjoyed it. Putting that tickler on the stock tillotson really helped me cut down on all the unnecessary prime kicking to draw up the fuel into the accelerator pump. The only reason I prime kick now is to prime in the oil pump with about 3 or 4 prime kicks. More to come this Wednesday afternoon. Thank you for watching.

Would love a full video on a potential rebuild of the tillotson or just a general tuning video. I have the original on my 1970 and I just cannot get it to run right

@@joshualother if I remember correctly I may have put out a video on the tilloston. I have both of mine dialed in perfectly. It’s really an easy carb to work on actually. Just a few tricks to keep in mind.

I have the original guide tail light lens with the original script. My 1968 XLCH only has an original 12k. I have the original hand book and seat. I had to change out the original GOODYEAR tires because of safety concerns. I love this bike!

@@douglas9607 Yes, it survived 56 years! I have a duty to keep it that way for future generations to see what a factory 1968 XLCH looks like. Don’t get me wrong, I love choppers and customs. BUT NOT THIS ONE!
