Makes me wish there was an open world HP game, like The Elder Scrolls. Doing various assignments, seeing other schools, and exploring every square inch of the Wizarding World, with music like this.

Standing here all alone, you feel like an outsider-a wanderer-wishing (not for the first time) just once, you could be part of that magical world. But what carries more magic? you wonder. The soft pattering of rain upon stained glass windows and ancient roof tiles? Or do the enchanted halls and stairs within the school of witchcraft and wizardry? What inspires more awe? The mossy stone battlements and crenulations of wizarding architecture? Or dark swollen clouds that are heavy with moisture? Do forests need to be forbidden and home to centaurs and unicorns to captivate? Do broad, green valleys need to nestle a great lake of merpeople to stir your imagination? What has more power to transport you to new and exciting places? The leather of a portkey boot? The emerald sparkle of floo powder? Or the gentle tones and swelling sways of music? You think, not for the last time: Both.

this makes me so so sad yet also brings me so much comfort. this universe is my home, my comfort, my everything. it has changed my life in the most emotional, dramatic way. so much pain and hurt comes from this and not being able to be there. the love i have for this place is unreasonable; heartbreaking even. i have found dormant comfort from other things. i have been to universal studios, & experienced all of the things i could in this world that are close to my home. but nothing is as real as i wish for it to be. i feel my life will never be complete because i was not born into the right universe. this is where i belong.

Admittedly haven’t seen Fantastic Beasts, so maybe that’s where the intro is coming from, but the first bit of melody gave me major Edward Scissorhands vibes (and I loved it)

So… I know this is like super hard to do… but would anyone else wanna use all their entire life savings and creat a hogwarts somewhere and make it eathier a hotel or school, so that more people could experience what it’s like.
