Today is the final video of Iowa's first season shotgun deer. I had to go to TX for work but the budman (even though he forgot to turn on his camera for his record buck) and bobby give you plenty of action

Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. We have a wide range of International equipment from small tractors from the 1970s to newer large farm tractors!

What a awesome season for you all, you boys make sure you take off of work too help with the processing making sausages because someone needs to carry out the family tradition. We used to do deer drives but that generation has passed on and most of the land has been sold or divided up. Now as far as population control you guy’s need to get more does 👍✌🏻🇺🇸

Congratulations on that nice big Iowa buck. I’ve driven around all that part of the country in my work and I’ve seen some nice bucks feeding along fence lines. Our family used to do the same thing every season up in Alabama in Choctaw County. Killed one of my biggest bucks there behind my grandpas pond. Disabled now and no one does hunts like they use to and it’s been back in 1979 when we had our last drive. Land was sold and important family members passed away and I’ve not done any hunting like this since then. I wish I could get in on some of this hunting with y’all. I’m 67 now and disabled and can’t hardly walk from one room to the other without sitting down catching my breath. Wishi sure could get in on your hunt’s sure brings back a lot of great memories with family and friends. Shoot one for me fellows.

We do deer drives in southern Michigan to help with crop damage, but we shoot everything that we see. The little ones eat corn and soybeans to.

Growing some extra special crops there in JACKSON county Iowa to raise so many nice bucks. I'm guessing not too many bowhunters around there by how many really nice bucks make it through to gun season.
